weird. my pc app store had a file and an uninstall application which seemed to remove it all from my computer

If i uninstalled the app from apps, then removed the file of it and its dll codes... in the roaming, will it be deleted forever like any other app, or it can put some files in the system 32 program file 86,....?? Also does it steal information from chrome , firefox..... or the pc itself

is there something up with windows virus tool because i got the same as @coutinho9093 with the same file path but not all " trojun / false positives that pop up is Trojan:Script/Wacatac.H!ml this pops up too Trojan:Win32/Malgent so my guess is that windows virus tool is currently bugged and throwing false stuff I'm not the only one getting it

Hey, this appeared to me yesterday containerfile: C:\Users\me\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default\Cache\Cache_Data\f_0009cf detected: Trojan:Script/Wacatac.H!ml Windows Defender removed the virus, but I did more checks and it kept coming back, Windows Defender always removed it, I decided to format it just in case. Today with the computer formatted the same thing happened (I didn't download anything) Windows Defender removed Wacatac again. in the last check it found a Trojan:Win32/Malgent What is the chance of it being a false positive? I used malwarebytes and didn't find the virus ty

who knew looking at random things to fix a certain virus could get me a antivirus that could take 3 minutes to do a full scan and detect hidden objects a PAID antivirus cant do (my paid one takes a hour didnt find anything and isnt as good)

I added the site as an exception and it worked but I am still unabIe to extract the fiIe from the zlp. It's Iike the program doesnt beIieve it's safe

So it hides 2 files in your process so you can't remove it. Go in task manager deactivate every start up process there is. Restart your computer without internet access. Then force delete the whole "lavasoft" folder using shift+delete if it still gets stuck it should tell you which process' fault it is and just kill them in task manager and resume the removal of "lavasoft". It's a dumb solution that takes a few minutes and work if you don't have access to the internet or don't want to install a software with root priviledges whose purpouse is to uninstall stuff (yikes)
