Hello everyone, recently a customer asked about the 416A chip after using it for a while in the HP M479dw printer.
A "Printer Failure" error message appears, indicating that there is a problem with the printer or printing system
Please turn the printer off and then on again
Event code: 55.30.00.
After restarting as prompted, the error still exists
This is usually caused by the "drum, motor, transfer belt" and other related components inside the machine not being able to rotate.
Next, follow our steps to easily solve this problem
Step 1: Check the toner cartridge
Open the front cover of the printer, take out the toner cartridge, and rotate it manually to see if it is smooth.
Step 2: Check the motor and gear
Remove the outside shell on both sides of the printer and find the location of the motor and gear
Manually rotate the motor to see if it can rotate normally.
Also check if there is anything or wear between the gears.
Step 3: Check and clean the transfer belt
Pull out the transfer belt, remove the positioning buckle and the transfer assembly
Remove the 2 screws on the transfer belt
Remove the transfer belt cable protective cover
Remove the fuser protective cover
With the front door open, pull out the transfer belt horizontally to avoid contact with sharp objects.
Next, clean the transfer belt carefully, turning it manually to make sure it is free of any abnormalities.
After cleaning, reinstall all accessories in reverse order.
Now we turn on the machine and test it again. The printer shows that it is ready and the error problem has been solved.
