All kite bar systems of release are of a different design. this clip shows how to inspect the condition of the release system and gives a general idea how to replace the elastic spring action. The bar used was a Cabrinha 2014. It is usual for problems to occur in older bars.

Created February 10th 2021 with temperature of 25c. strut is loosing air. investigate and remove bladder to find the leak. replace with second hand bladder as this was the best solution for this repair. On completion, one hour inflated on the beach and PASSED. So this kite is ready for the next session 👌

There are different problems with loosing air from a kite. I've had this kite 5 years and used about 100 sessions each year, this is the first repair needed. Step 1:Find the leek.
