I've heard one song off that Punk Goes Christmas album -- "This Christmas (I'll Burn It To The Ground)," by Set It Off. It's a pretty rockin' song! 🎄🔥 ( PS -- Smokey the Bear says, "Only YOU can prevent forest fires 🐻)
I thought your thumbnail was a pic of Guillermo from Jimmy Kimmel! 😂😂
@@offthecharts2272 it can be for the right price
@ 😋😂🤘🏻
I was expecting Will Ferrell in an elf costume to burst in at any moment and warn, "He's not really Santa!!!" LOL 🎅
@ 😂😂
@@UncleDaffy313 the budget went into blinking head lights
Wasn’t “Iscariot” Judas’s last name in the Jesus days? He was the one who was the traitor? I also owned that No Doubt album on CD back then…. LOVE Spiderwebs. 🤘🏻
@offthecharts2272 yes, they also had something called Judas O that came with the Greatest Hits when I got that on CD
@ well then
Great find with Megadeth! Those 2 Montrose albums are good too... but the first Montrose S/T is an all-time classic! "I've got the Fire" was the popular song off of Paper Money (which was later covered by Iron Maiden in the 80s) I have that MC Cancelled EP and it sux! :)
@offthecharts2272 only need like 12 more Megadeth albums or something
Rust In Peace is my favorite album of all time. I hated the direction they went with Countdown. The new Crue is garbage.
@@lgf213 I love both of those albums.
Vivian Campbell was also in Dio…. And when he left, he seemed to have forgotten his talent with him… And the new singer in Gwar was the original Gwar bassist…
I thought you only loved “early” Bush? 😂😂
Oh I do but there is something to be said for Late Bush . . . Middle Bush ehhhh
@ 😂😂😂
I have all the Aerosmith albums on vinyl up until Get a Grip... after that, it gets expensive and difficult to find...
@@offthecharts2272 I have 6 albums, 2 different Greatest Hits, and that 1971 The Road Starts Here live thing on vinyl and a couple more on CD and cassette
As far as R.E.M albums go that " Green " is up there for me.I have it on cassette strangely enough. People went nuts when that Pumpkins " Mellon Collie " was re-released as it had been out of print for so long. And was a crazy price, I got it later on. Really nice presentation with that set. Loved the Kirsten Dunst gatefold, your eyes popped out when you saw that Kevin👀
@AttackFromDownunda Haaaaaa I was not expecting Kristen Dunst. Green is definitely one of the best R.E.M. albums, I have it on CD . . . amongst to have to show my collection of their albums. I think I will have almost everything once the mail shoes up this week.

Cool you found your number one most wanted for RSD. I did not get anything this particular drop, but a couple of records were on sale I did get. The Cure and Amyl and the Sniffers latest had 20% off. I have that " Detach-Penis " song on a comp somewhere, I had forgotten about that song. Pretty Funny. I would have picked up that Shitty Person record as well Kevin. Svart Records is the disro I picked up that Mansion C.D I showed in a vid recently. From Finland I believe.
@AttackFromDownunda I listened to Shitty Person today . . . It was kinda weird gonna have to give it a couple of more plays. How could you forget about your Detachable Penis? I don't have any Amyl but I heard a few songs and would like to get some of that stuff.

Congrats betty! I skipped RSD, nothing I wanted. I remember the Detachable Penis video on Beavis & Butthead, so hilarious.
For someone who doesn't own any Ramones, that Greatest Hits looks like a good idea! You basically recited all the hits! And I would have gotten that Marvel vinyl also! I'm a comic book nerd too, but only Marvel! :)
@offthecharts2272 Ramones Mania has more songs but the Greatest Hits is probably all you need
As for Cowboy Mouth, it wasn't until I moved away from New Orleans that I actually bought their music. It was late '90s and I was missing everything I had left behind, when I saw that CD with "Jenny Says" on it in a used-CD store. You could listen to them first, and the lines, "the Texas sun beats down upon me like the Devil's smile. I'd rather be anywhere else than here," followed shortly by the chorus, "Take me back to New Orleans and drop me at my door," were exactly what I was feeling! I KNEW I had to buy that CD! When I had lived there, my friend and I always drank in a bar where the bartender was the brother of band member, Fred Sanchez. ⚜
@@UncleDaffy313 Fred LeBlanc (vocals/Drums) and Paul Sanchez (Guitar)
@@SONIC-BOOM-TV The brother was Jose, but I'm pretty sure it was with Fred, not Paul. I know Sanchez sounds like it would go with Jose, but NOW I'm pretty sure his surname was Leblanc. He didn't look Hispanic.
From Better Than Ezra I have that Deluxe on CD, and also their holiday song, "Merry Christmas Eve." That's all I have by them, but I like all that! My favorite songs are "The Killer Inside," and the aforementioned "Merry Christmas Eve." 🎄
@@UncleDaffy313 get Friction Baby as well
If you love blink182, you must have that song, "I Won't Be Home for Christmas!" That is the only song I have by them, but I LOVE it! The lyrics are hilarious! "When the Carolers start to sing, I can't describe the joy they bring, because joy is something they don't bring me" 🎄
@UncleDaffy313 yes I have it. All of their early stuff is funny
I have a Jolt Cola shirt (it's a red golf shirt, but it has the Jolt Cola logo on the breast) that I got years ago at a second-hand store in good shape. 👕🌩
I'd wear that
I got a pretty good haul about 1-2 weeks ago at a garage sale in an upscale neighborhood that I drive through on my way home from work each day. No vinyl, but I got 14 CDs for $12, and they were all in great condition. Got "Greatest Hits" CDs from Boston, Journey, Loverboy, Night Ranger, REO Speedwagon, Starship, Jim Croce, B.B. King, Muddy Waers, the Temptations, & "The Pretender" by Jackson Browne. Got 2 Christmas CDs from Johnny Mathis, & Mad Men TV show, & then various artist 80's Pop Hits, a 3-CD set (I only like 2-3 songs from each, but those plus maybe one surprise song per disc equals one worthy CD).
@@UncleDaffy313 good deal.
That Refreshments album seems like something that needs to be in my collection! Love that artwork! I agree that was the era where Joan Jett looked her hottest! You should show off those 2 ThunderMother albums you got :)

Thanks for the shoutout buddie! We love you too! Glad to see you back on here! Your flashy sign is way better than mine (when it glows up) :) Nice haul on that EMN... I need that one!

I like the new setup. That EMN is a grail, hahaha! I don't get the Beatles, they've always been old people music to me. I do like old TS.
@@lgf213 DANG I am old people
The budget was blown on the sign - Made me laugh!😅 One way like your method of reading the CD liner notes for shout outs. I used to see what other band shirts ,artists i would like were wearing, and try them out. Found quite a few good bands that way. The hunt for cheap good C.D's has kinda replaced a lot of vinyl hunting for me as prices for vinyl increase. I am patiently awaiting that Thrash/Metal video🤘 and thanks for the shout-outs. I value your friendship as well Kevin.
GROUP HUG!!!
@@offthecharts2272 haaaaaa
@AttackFromDownunda oh yeah the t-shirt thing was a good way to find new things too. Glad to make you laugh.
Glad they put this out commercially finally. Really enjoy this band.
@@spiffy8576 it's a really good live album
That Queen in Montreal show/dvd is talked about LOTS here... apparently very great! (I still buy LOTS of blurays - like LOTS) I saw Smashing Pumpkins live (the tour where Melissa Auf der Maur was the bass player) and was easily one of the worst shows I ever seen... Nothing against the SP music... but the singer spent all the time whining about his amp or guitar not working... Your SP story is indeed funny! :)
Check Your Head is their best album. I don't really listen to anything else by them. I think it is still worth the price you paid even with the damaged cover.
That Iron Chic album cover is VERY cool!

@AttackFromDownunda that Spread Eagle album is a lost classic, I think they had a second one but they were pretty late to the game.

Triple J in Australia was i station i used to listen to heaps when i lived there. I have a few of their music compilations. Shame that Pumpkins album was bad. My Fav. John Cougar album is " Scarecrow '. That " Lonesome Jubilee " album spawned a lot of hits in New Zealand. I think its bandmembers on that inner sleeve, as it looks like Roy Bittan from The Bruce Springsteen band on it. That Women i seem to remember in a video played some fiddle parts. I think I remember watching that " Blue Max " war movie. George Peppard from " The A-Team " starred in it.
@AttackFromDownunda yeah the Smashing Pumpkins was disappointing but ya live and learn I suppose. My favorite John Cougar albums are American Fool and Scarecrow but I haven't heard all of them. I started listening to Blue Max and it was super clean no pops or anything but I only got through the first few songs before the phone started ringing for work. I might have to look up the movie. Amanda Shaw is a great fiddler.
Cool how you picked up on the mind control. I also got addicted to records and I don’t even know why . Just drawn too them . I really think records will cap out in 5 years or less . Every generation goes through this I want my stuff back or the stuff I couldn’t afford when I was 16 . So I would sell that great collection in 2.5 years . In my humble opinion or enjoy them the way you do until whenever.
I don't think they are going away, Everything that comes out now is on vinyl, and kids and teenagers are buying it they may slow down all of the variant colors but they won't disappear again.
@@SONIC-BOOM-TV Our local bar is doing vinyl night you bring in a record and you get to play a song . Probably going to check it out . They will be around forever.

Mike Campbell is the Heartbreaker's guitarist, and Benmont Tench is a keyboard player (not sure, might be a Heartbreaker, too, but he was definitely on Don Henley's album, Building The Perfect Beast). So there's Tom Petty & a couple Heartbreakers, and there's also the brother of Bernie Leadon, the original guitarist from The Eagles. I got their second album, Mudcrutch 2, from the Public Lirbrary, which was a reunion album of new songs recorded many years later.
Yeah I looked it up after I was definitely thinking of different people.
"Rockin' Into The Night" was actually a Survivor song. I checked out Survivor's Greatest Hits from the Public Library pre-pandemic and was shocked it was a 2-disc set, because I didn't remember that many songs from Survivor. The liner notes said since .38 Special had a big hit with it, Survivor did not have a very big hit with their version.
I like "White Lightning" off from Head First.
I still haven't got to listen to that one yet . . . My new pile keeps growing.
I thought my latest vid. would be lost as well. Took 4 tries to upload - TH-cam hates me. Cool you are doing well with your blind buys, and that Motown comp looks really smart. That gold vinyl looks similar to those recent AC/DC re-issues gold records. Been getting into that Twisted Sister album you have in the background, repeated plays in my car. Love it!. I do have those red and blue Beatles comps. the blue one is my favourite, can't honestly say i play the other one much. I have a stack of stuff to eventually show as well Kevin.
@AttackFromDownunda the gold on that Motown is a little different than the AC/DC one that I got. I need to get more Twisted Sister all I have is Stay Hungry and a Christmas CD
I think that sticker shows the town of San Diego... not San Francisco or LA... I also have that "Tears of a Clown" song, but on an Enuff Z'nuff album!
