I just purchased a new 64 bit computer the Prepar3d and PMDG add on. In Prepar3D vehicle I select PMDG press OK with a error message: PMDG Debug Warning: the PMDG product was unable to create its work files, Please make sure you are running Prepar3D as administrator.

Thank you for the fix bro. With the reg edit i finally installed the pmdg aircrafts which was not happening before due to failure to find the correct folder location. However, after doing the reg edit and installing pmdg the new problem is that the screen goes black when i start prepar3D v3 and nothing happens then. When i open the task manager its still running but nothing shows up on the screen and I cant do anything. I found few videos on youtube who have tried to solve that but none of those fixes work for me. Can you help me with this ?

After followed your steps shown in the video, my P3D addons all gone and now I have to reinstall the entire things and remove unused file manually... Thanks

You really fucking helped me on this one. I bought P3D V4, i didn't have any P3D before, so i had to do some stuff myself. I don't know why, but i didn't have the folder Lockheed Martin on the WOW6432NODE key, that's inside software and Local Machine, so i had to create it and created Prepar3D V2, Prepar3D V3 and Prepar3D V4, then i did what u said on the video. I'm saying this because someone might be in the same situation. Sorry for my English, and thank you so much !!!
