No I have not done a video covering that install. I plan to go back and make one when I pull the nose to replace the radiator... it has a minor leak in the side tank. The install was pretty stressful & I was not sure it was gonna work, so I never filmed it. But the chin spoiler is actually a 2016-2024 Camero OEM trunk spoiler I found at the junkyard that was already red with the black striping. I mounted it inverted under the Vues nose.

Thank you. I appreciate it. Sadly I wish I had had a bigger interest in these when they were new as well. It really is a great vehicle with the Honda drive train! I just added that many roof rails for the heck of it. I did not want to add a roof rack on this particular vehicle, but like the functionality, so I thought why not add extra bars to make more of a platform. Its just a little experiment. The look has grown on me. :)

I addressed the issue in the 3rd video. Previous owner did overheat it. They tried to cover it up with leak stop the mechanic speculated. It got 150 miles from where I bought it (almost home) & it blew in a violent spectacular fashion in traffic. Headgasket was very very blown.

Lol. Mom adores her RX8. She has an 2005 Shinka Edition. She almost lost the car when a driver crossed the line & hit her head on in a blind curve. Mom saw her at the last second & swerved off the road so it was a square hit, but it totalled it. Mom only had 40,000 miles & had just replaced the block. We could not find a comparable RX8 that was not double the miles & trashed. Insurance ponied up more $$$. We were able to buy it back after that & repair it. She's still driving it to this day.

@@minxbade what model is your civic. Typically you need the trim to match up. But the tech folks I asked said 2003 - 2005 were all inter-changable except hybrids. They are very different. The 2001 & 2002 have to be re-pinned to use 2003 - 2005. I am not sure about the SI clusters. Basically the reds & blues can be interchanged, but you have to match up if the car has ABS, manual or auto.

After you asked, I saw a post someone made about this very thing. They had tried to install my style cluster in their non-tach civic. It would not work for them. You should definitely do more research on honda tech forums & see if anyone there figured out the trick back in the day. I'm sorry, I wish I had the correct answer for you.

@@outtapurrp1178 well the Vue has 274k so everything was wore out & it was like driving a boat over waves. I bought the Maddox high end spring compressor for harbor freight & used it to do the swap. I had a buddy assist & it went so super smooth. I followed another video who did the same. For me it was easy & very very worth while. It handles much much better. I replaced shock & struts also. I also replaced the end links & sway bar bushings. All this added up to a safe responsive driving vehicle again.

Thank you!! It took me a long time to find these. Paid probably too much on Ebay, so no, sorry, not for sale. I keep looking to see if any turn up at junkyards though. If I see any, I will buy them to keep them from the crusher & flip them to a fellow Vue owner. So if I find any, I will remember you!

How well did it come clean? This one stunk really bad & was faded badly where the mats were not. I so wanted it, but it looked like it was not worth getting.

Came out pretty nice other than a spot right in front of driver seat that has heel wear. The detailer said it would look better if I hit it with a can of fabric dye but I didn't want to risk it

​@@charlesheinle9908Cameron & I pulled the carpet out of an 08. It was pristine. I'm going to see if by some miracle it will fit. Part of me is tempted to get this carpet as a back up... I just don't know cause it was so faded.

@@joshjames9204 the dealer had installed it before the previous owner purchased it new. I keep looking for them in the junkyard, but have not seen a single one yet

​@@charlesheinle9908yes definitely get on the FB group... since the Saturn Fans forum in gone,it's all we have. Thd first redline I found a few month back had the whole nose tore up. I think someone did similar to what they did at your yard. They cut the frt core support to make it easier to pull the catalytic converters

@@thomasbennett4388 you may notice in some shots, its still in the background. The civic was supposed to be the daily driver all along. The Saturn was an unexpected blessing when the Civic went down & the mechanic could not get it repaired fast enough. It was stuck on & off with the mechanic for nearly 2 years. I was no planning to get it back & need to redo so much, but it made for interesting content. I will srill be working on them both. Also the DelSol will be making appearances. They all have a home with me. :) As new things come up on any of them I will try to video & post. So no worries... the Vue Project is still in process. :D

Great to hear from you, im very happy that you took the time to write back.... by the way, I own a Saturn vue redline that has a bad transmission , it's a 2006.

@@thomasbennett4388 oh man, I have heard the transmissions can be a problem. I'm still just learning about everything myself. I jealous of the redline... I really love the styling. Is everything else good with the Vue outside of the transmission?

​@redraif I had issues with the starter, but I picked up one at the junkyard , other than that, im still waiting for a good transmission, not many with the 3.5 v6, but I can't complain I got it for cheap, I don't know how to send a picture one here but as soon as I figure it out I'll send you one

They are a hard one. I have yet to see one at the junkyard. I will definitely grab any I find to rescue & share with the community

When I inquired at the local wheel repair place it was $650 for the set without repairing. Repairs would cost more. They needed to see all to estimate the repairs. There would also be an additional cost for 2 tone like I'm doing. I had 1 wheel repaired by them in the past. It was hit by a wreckless motorist. There was a deep deep gouge in the spoke. To repair & refinish that one was 450. I figured that horrible one of mine would be a similar cost. So 450 plus 650 plus additionL to two tone. I was easily hitting the 1000+ range. I checked with my wheel vendor & for 1200 they could get me a wheel similar for that cost. So the powder coating was not worth the cost.

Yes, they have a primer layer, then the silver & then cleared. Definitely not a typical machined or polished aluminum with just a clear over like the OEM ones I have.
