My work is all in the spellsnew files that are in the p99 patch files. For it to work on your server, all you need to do is make sure the spell_anim field in your spells_us table point to the proper animation.
According to Paul Hertenstein's website this video inspired him to make his Everquest collection of covers.

This is incredible - and way better than MIDI. They probably lost the original composer - you should reach out to them to see if they want an HD version.
When I close my eyes and listen to this melody, I can still see every tree, every winding path leading to the lifts to take you into the beautiful labyrinth-like city in the trees. This melody is phenomenal in its simplicity and repetition. Very good job here.
The most memorable of Everquest's great themes. I think it approaches Stones from Ultima in terms of evocative quality and deserves to be recalled as a great of computer RPGs. A wonderful rendition!

This is so amazing... Everquest 1999-2003 was a life changing experience. Luckily there are some amazing emulated servers out there that have let me re-experience it.

Wow, way to take me back to 1999. I can still hear my 14.4 moden dialing in to EQ, I can still see the ad bar at the top of the screen because I have free internet from NetZero.

where do you get the sheet music
I don’t have the sheet music I played it by using synthesia to remove the non harp parts and memorizing it. Though you can easily take that midi and make sheet music using Sibelius software.
My gosh, I could listen to this all day. Just like I used to.

how/where did you get the classic spell effects to work on live servers? i know you can delete a couple files to recreate it sort of but not fully like shown here :P
It took about a year of work editing the files and putting the art back together.
+Jeremiah Comer do the spell effects still work on live? been looking for a way to get those classic spell effects on Phinigel, is there anywhere i can download this? :D
Amazing cover man, the songs in everquest really did bring the game to life in ways I never understood till years later. With just one moment of this song all the memories come flooding back.
