You're one of the smartest reactors I've ever watched, you're very observant, you drove conclusions upon what you say and you catched stuff like the clock tower incident early in the film, you're one of the few people I've seen react this movie that immediately catched it and though that it would have a bigger importance in the movie later on. First, have watched over 100 reactions to this legendary movie, and seeing yours hour ago, now my favorite! You're so beautiful and love your personality, smart, good humor. Was a successful athlete growing up, muscled and fast. Stayed strong to protect ones from bullies. First did it in 4th grade, a family friend, 2nd grade, was bullied bad by 6thvgrade one, saw, ran, tackled, and fought. Ended up getting beat hit, black eye and bloody, but got good hits and made his nose bleed..by end of day, got way more friends, including the best looking girl in class since 1st grade, who became my girlfriend until HS. So a movie story, but its real, changing his Dad after knocking out the big bully! Should watch after these 3 Karate Kid, also 3 movies. Another legendary movie series, like Marty and Doc, a HS teen meets a 60s man, teen lost his Dad, and Miyagi, lost his wife and baby , so found each other for Karate, and teen getting bullied. This movie is part of a trilogy. You simply MUST watch (and react to) parts 2 and 3 as well. I enjoyed watching this again with you!

I’d like to see more of your reactions but Back To The Future is a tough act to follow. In that same time period would be movies like E.T. Pee Wees Big Adventure Karate Kid Trading Places These are pretty light hearted For something more intense Blue Velvet is pretty cool. Friday The 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street are intense for the period but still hold up both classics.

There are so many great movies from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s thanks to great film makers like Spielberg and Lucas

Just this past winter I too bought the extended blu-ray edition of the The Hobbit trilogy! As a Tolkien fan for some 50 years, when the hobbit movies first came out I was hugely disappointed in all the extra "stuff" PJ & Company added into the story, but over the years I have mellowed and now I enjoy these movies immensely for what they are. I'm glad you have decided to take the plunge! Just remember that this one is a children's book. There is more whimsy in this story and more of a fairytale feel to it than in LOTR, but it still has depth to it as well. I enjoyed rewatching this one with you. Thanks for sharing it! I'm looking forward to the movies ahead. 🙂

23:24 I've seen this movie so many times, but just noticed something on the wall, to the upper left: the name Ron Woodward for senior class president. At first, I thought of Woodward and Bernstein, the journalists who uncovered the Watergate scandal... but that's Bob, not Ron. Anyway, it turns out someone named Ron Woodward worked behind the scenes in this movie as a key grip, one of the senior roles among the lighting, electrical and all the technical tasks involved in the filmmaking, allowing the director to concentrate on the artistic stuff.

My favourite movie

That was an awesome reaction! I seen this movie 3 times in the movie theater when it was released in 1985, the last time with my late brother, and it became one of his favorite movies that he would watch quite often on video. I miss him everyday. Anyways, I'm gonna recommend another classic, this one even older from 1946, but I know you would really enjoy it. It's considered a Christmas movie, but you can watch it anytime. It is ranked at #20 on the American Film Institutes list of the 100 Greatest movies ever made, and #1 on its list of the most inspirational American films of all time. The movie is called "It's A Wonderful Life", starring Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed. I just know you will love it, and I hope you can do a reaction to it. Either way, I subscribed! Peace

Subscribed. I hope that along the way as you react to the old blockbusters and the older classics you will find the courage to explore some of the lesser known, but very good u pique and original movies that are out there. Certain actors are worth watching in almost every movie they made. Jack Nicholson is one and 8f course Boggie and Becall. Tome Cruise also, and a lesser known Ethan Hawk. There are others of course but those are several that come to mind. The "Before ..." trilogy is unique. Three movies spawning almost 30 years with the main characters as we drop in on them roughly every 10 years or so for a slice of their lives. Never been done before.

Its amazing how many reactors are so worried about the dog. Nobody gave it a second thought in 1985.

I saw this as a 13 yr old in the theater in 1985, and have watched it literally 20-30 times since... but ONLY THIS TIME did I realize Doc didn't have any weather equipment permit in his wallet... he was paying the cop off. My 13 yr old brain just assumed scientist carried emergency permits around, and adult me never questioned it.😂😂

Love your reactions! Back To The Future is fun. Back when I grew up, this was one of the most important movie trilogies that I was watching. So, I definitely recommend that you watch Back To The Future Parts 2 and 3, because the overall story is one of the most satisfying in all movie history. And, for a further recommendation, why not try out Star Trek?

Old movies are good, back when they were real and not synthetic and full of woke propaganda. Imagine that!

"There is so much happening" yeah, thats kinda the issue with the Hobbit. The shortest book got strenched out far too much.

Two little pieces of trivia I will drop for you. Balin, the white haired dwarf. You should remember him. In The Lord of the Rings when Gimli finds the tomb of his dead cousin in Moria. That is Balin's tomb. Balin becomes the Lord of Moria after the events in The Hobbit. Also, you meet Gimli's father in this movie. Remember when Lord Elrond shows up and says something in Elvish and a red haired dwarf say "What is he saying, does he offer us insult?" And Gandalf says "No Master Gloin, he's offering you food." And Gloin says "Well lead on then." Gloin is Gimli's father. The Hobbit trilogy is a great set of movies. They are not as perfect as The Lord Of The Rings trilogy mind you, but they are great in their own right. I'll let you be the judge at the the end of the trilogy what your opinion is. But I thought I would drop those two little trivia easter eggs for you from this first movie. Great reaction by the way ;-)

Doesn't look like anybody has mention the name of the mall changing from "Twin Pines" to "Lone Pine". It's because he ran over one of the pine trees at the beginning.

Besides the rest of the BTTF trilogy, I would like to recommend the following fun time travel movies: "Star Trek 4: The Voyage Home" (1986); "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" (1988); and "The Spirit of '76" (1990).

"I don't believe there is one line in these movies that is wasted". You are 100%. Despite them being nearly 12 hours worth of movie... every line and scene matters!

Just so you're prepaired, (it confuses some people), they did have to recast his girlfriend in the next ones. The original actress had a family emergency and couldn't do the second one, then they kept the new actress for the 3rd.
