Battleship is actually a pretty good movie after all it was fun and had a cool depiction battleships can you tell me if there is some things you like about battleship or do you completely hate it it isn’t that bad

You look like the guy they’d cast as a stereotypical nerd in a movie from 1984

Hey Jack you do somewhat enjoy the film battleship right after all it was meant to be a big dumb fun popcorn film am I right it wasn’t meant to be an Oscar contented outside of its special effects and sound

Hey you don’t hate the movie battleship do you tell me did you enjoy parts from it like the climax and the visuals don’t be deceived by its premise and concept of being from a board game it was meant to be Independence Day in the ocean after all

So far both Ariana grande and Selena Gomez are acting now and I hope both of them don’t get Oscar glory they suck big time especially the latter middle school teen pop music sucks with a Capital S

Awesome review Jack, as somebody who didn't love the first Moana Moana 2 is even weaker. This should have been a Disney + series it's not structured like a movie. I can see why it's making bank at the box office though!

I saw it for a second time today and i still couldn't get onboard with the story. The villain is a storm cloud..really? That's the best they could come up with 😅

14:03 I’m going to say this right now actually you can still be excited for Zootopia 2 and don’t be too worried about it because at least it has always been planned to be a movie and not a TV show and also at least I don’t feel too worried about it and at least I don’t feel that concerned, especially it has always been planned to be at theatrical movie and not a TV show like Moana 2 You can actually be excited for the movie actually especially the ideas that they are presenting in Zootopia 2 like they are including reptiles in it sound very promising so I bet they’re going to do a much better job with that movie and especially just because how you feel about Moana 2 please don’t lower your expectations for Zootopia 2 mainly because it has always been planned to be a theatrical movie from the very beginning and also the ideas that they are presenting definitely do sound promising and please still be excited for the movie and don’t lower your anticipation for the movie

Saw it last week. Hadn’t seen the musical or read the book but was familiar with the more popular songs. I was so blown away, I’m going to see it again on Tuesday. As someone who’s been different and was bullied in high school I had high hopes for the emotion of the movie and expected to fall in love with Elphaba. I was not disappointed in the least. Seems like it’s a great story about prejudice and privilege and how hard it can be to stay true to ourselves. Truly beautiful. I’m amazed to hear that they were all designed sets, the world was so epic and beautiful. Can’t wait to see the second part!

Awesome review Jack, Wicked Part 1 completely blew me away and is now my favourite movie of 2024. I feel sorry for all the musical blockbusters this year I think Mean Girls and Joker 2 got too much hate but Wicked Part 1 is hands down the best musical of the year. This respects the stage musical and Jon M Chu was the perfect director to helm it you can see his love for the source material. The world of OZ looked phenomenal with the best sets of the year keeping the CGI to a minimal. Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande are electrifying as Elphaba and Glinda and the supporting cast are great too from Michelle Yeoh, Jonathan Bailey, Peter Dinkeldge and Jeff Goldblum. Popular was my favourite song but each song from act 1 of the musical was expertly executed. The 2 hour and 40 minute runtime felt justified to help add even more detail to the story. That climax in the Emerald City left me SPEECHLESS it was that good bring on part 2. This is now my favourite Wizard of Oz movie even more so than the 1939 classic. I'd give Wicked Part 1 5 stars out of 5!

I saw Wicked last week and it was amazing. I loved all of the performances (especially from Erivo and Grande but everyone crushed it). The set design and costumes were both outstanding and it should win the Oscar in both of those categories. The soundtrack was also incredible with my favorite song and scene being Defying Gravity.

Question: does it end with the “Defying Gravity” number? That closes Act 1 in the stage musical, but it’s rare to have a non-reprisal song end a movie, so I wasn’t sure what they would do.
