That aerial view of the palace, on the part where it shows how many kms you did, gives you a really good idea of the sheer size of the thing. It's huge and grounds are massive.
Loved the horse 'staircase'. They look cool. And that flat you're staying in is gorgeous, though I did think the 'befroom' might be a bit difficult for someone that was tall. Going to the loo in the middle night might be a bit problematic.
They sure knew how to build beautiful buildings back then. Great photos of the sunset, too. P. S Mitch, you must really like that shirt. I think it's in quite a few videos.😁
A certain author we all know must be feeling pretty dreamy with that video, a perfect setting and brings the keep to life ! The start of the chateau run and Normandy very special. There's a very interesting museum and the cemetery at the beach landing very moving. Happy trundling !
European driving and freeways is a whole other ballgame isn't it! But worth it for those beautiful alps, and towns ! Check out a roadside diner / garage if you get the chance, it's a very different experience.
Great video , I really enjoyed the reflections! Such a great adventure you’re on, thanks for taking us along. Hope you get the bag back, and enjoy the cruise and France x
Well done Annette & Mitch! You smashed it! An adventure of a lifetime and it was our pleasure to walk it with you physically and virtually! Enjoy your rest, your cruise and the rest of your holiday! Hope to see you again sometime in the future. Best wishes, Craig & Anita xx
Well done such an amazing adventure - we feel the joy of the big arrival into Santiago and the partying I'm sure will feel extra good with no early starts or 28k walks next day ! The food was something like Zambuera - a scallop dish of some sort, apparently Santago is known for it ! Enjoy the next few days looking back on what you've just done together - so cool !
WELL DONE YOJ TWO!! Another great video and we are both looking forward to your ‘reflection videos’ that follow! It’s been an amazing experience and I trust that Santiago is everything you hoped it would be. Sooo jealous! Was great spending some time with you on the unique and magical Camino!! Love C&A xxx
Well you two trundlers it has been an amazing experience following you on your ups and downs. More ups than downs we think. You appear to be getting the pace right near the end, maybe you will be happy and sad to finish this huge walk. Enjoy your final get together with your new friends, and of course Annette your massage.
Some of that scenery is very reminiscent of Hannamvale or Upper Lansdowne. Except for those gorgeous buildings. I love those pops of blue colour- the windows, the doors etc
I'm feeling a bit sad my daily Camino videos are close to coming to coming to an end ! I wonder how it will feel for you even though exciting to get to the final destination. So many nice people you have met along the way, almost feels like I know them too ! Keep smiling, savour the next 4 days.
Amazing views and bagpipes I would have had a teary moment too ! You guys are doing so great and that's going to be one fine party at the end with your fellow pilgrims. One of my Spanish suppliers mentioned some food thing you have to try when you get to the end of your pilgrimage. Will check what it was and let you know. Taxi a good call with Mitch not feeling so great and big days and climbs !
200kms. That's still like walking from Harrington to Cessnock. But you've done a huge amount of kms so far, so I can imagine each time you drop below the 100 mark- 500, 400, 300 eyc- it must feel pretty good.
Well done guys! Glad the fog cleared and the weather picked-up but good to hear you navigated the tough downhills even though it's been a v tough one! Continuing to walk the Camino vicariously through your footsteps! Thanks again for making the videos. Hope tomorrow goes well. Love C&A xx
That walk looked really challenging, but the scenery was so pretty, the towns were cute and those frogs.. Glad you did the castle even though you were tired.
That walk looked darn hard, but the views and where you placed yoir rocks looked pretty special. Really enjoying the wildflowers and loved the frog choir !
So good to watch your videos and this one doesn’t disappoint! Arrived home late Friday night and have got all the washing done etc and now having breakfast and expecting guests for Sunday / Monday. We’re missing the Camino madly so will participate virtually through your vids! Have a great day today and a special moment right at the top! Take care & Buen Camino! A&Cxxx
😍

Très joli château. Merci pour cette visite.
Wow!! How enormous, beautiful is that?
Wow! Just wow!

Those tudor houses look amazing. I can't get over how much history is there. Those towns are just gorgeous.
Very reminiscent of the twelve apostles/ great Ocean road but white. Those stones on the beach, though...
Good choice my favourite too !
I really enjoyed revisiting Mont Saint Michel with you, ,it's very special.
So many beautiful chateaus, can't see them all ! Beautiful countryside too !
They sure knew how to build beautiful buildings back then. Great photos of the sunset, too. P. S Mitch, you must really like that shirt. I think it's in quite a few videos.😁

That town looks so cute. And that bakery...yum
Gorgeous and so damn big. Can you imagine the cost of maintenance on those chateaus.
Beautiful old town, though. Another one for the bucket list.
I was going to ask if you were taking your photos on an angle, because a lot of those house looked awfully crooked or like they were leaning over..🤣
Still beautiful. You've been extremely lucky with the weather so far.
I'm with you, Annette. Cable cars are freaky and that is a seriously long drop. But the views...so worth it.
This whole are is now on my bucket list
Amazing

Such a beautiful, spectacular building. These days we just build boxes.
Amazing ! Enjoy the cruise !

You guys should be so proud of what you achieved.
Love the toilet ratings🤣

What a gorgeous place to stay. What was that stuff you had on toast?
Well done guys! Inspirational!
Enjoy the relaxing afternoon. 3 more days to go!
Mitch you have a bit of the El Tan-o happening :)

You both look much more invigorated today. Almost there.
38kms hiking. Nope. Just nope. Taxi! I couldn't get over the size of that monastery.
Amazing views and bagpipes I would have had a teary moment too ! You guys are doing so great and that's going to be one fine party at the end with your fellow pilgrims. It sure does. Looking for the 100-km marker now.

Foncebafon is sooo cute. I love the fancy doors over there.
