Nintendo has done a lot of shooting themselves in the foot the past few years by attacking some of the most passionate members of their own community. They're even going after TH-camrs who include footage of their games. As somebody who has been a multi-generation Nintendo gamer, who bought multiple Switch consoles including the OLED, I won't be buying the next Nintendo console.

Remember, how in June, we had no idea what games would come in the second half of the year? And then, we got a Nintendo Direct, which answered it all. Just be a bit patient. Nintendo doesn't want to announce games too early anymore, and I would agree with them. Some teams announce games like 9 months in advance, which just means, that I forget about that game in a weak, since it is still to far away. We know their releases for this year, so there is no reason for an additional Direct.

Supporting Nintendo is very difficult

I never liked Nintendo. The only reason why I had 3DS was Monster Hunter. As soon as they released it on consoles / PC... I dumped their underpowered, gimmicky consoles and never looked back. I always thought Nintendo was for kiddies and casuals and there is a lot of that it seems.

All this is a moot point because there’s no PS5 games out as yet. Astro boy and Spider-Man 2. All the other games are gimped as they still release on ps4. I’d skipped the pro and wait for the 6 and maybe even wait a few years into the gen as it may be a repeat of the ps4 to ps5 situation

Ps5 is junk, period. They want you to take it apart, knowing it's going to break the fan connector off if you do. Once you see what you get, you realise how badly you were ripped off. Great engineering, it can't lay flat on its own without help. Complete garbage. My ps2, ps3, and ps4 still work. My ps5 is barely holding together. Sony is turning into a joke.

i disagree with you. its not for everyone but people who decide to buy wil be happy and some just content on buying ps5 slim. Thing is you get negativity with everything. Lopok at the portal and how it was successfull. No one yet had a ps5 pro in there hands and not even tried one.

PS5 pro is a waste of money. It's just a slight upgrade, not a new console, why in gods name would you pay $600 or 700 for a slight upgrade? That's the cost of a new console, just keep your ps5 and wait for ps6. Me, I have a ps5, and I would never buy a pro version of any console, and considering PlayStation's lack of content, I don't think I'm ever buying a PlayStation again. I only play RPGs, so the only games on ps5 for me are Diablo, FF, and Hogwarts Legacy. I'm personally sticking with Nintendo from now on. They have way more content, their consoles are cheaper. Sure they don't have as much power, but gaming isn't about power and how realistic a game can be, it's about good games that are fun to play. Just look at Concord. It had a massive budget, and it completely tanked. I'm sorry but Xbox and PlayStation need to follow Nintendo, and spend less money making their games, and make games are actually good games. I've been done with the Xbox since the first one, I'm now done with PlayStation after 5 consoles, but Nintendo? I'll just keep buying them.
