Lost my childhood dog last year. It is hard to understand the bond you get with dog that you have known for so long. Loosing them is like loosing a family member. But when i think back i think of all the fantastic memories, and that weighs a 100x more then any sadness that spawns after their passing. They live on forever in our hearts.
