[MGR Remix] The Only Thing I Know For Real - Bloodshed Edition
So, if you're here, you either really like Jetstream Sam, you're a Metal Gear Rising fan, or you're enslaved by the memes.
I love the original track, the lyrics are spot on and the instrumental is satisfying, but I often felt like it wasn't long enough. Not to mention, I honestly prefer the ORIGINAL instrumental over the release one, but prefer the release lyrics.
So, with that in mind, I said "hey, why not make my own mix?", and that's what brings us here today, with what I've dubbed the "Bloodshed Edition" of the song.
I spliced the release lyrics over the original instrumental and reorganized it into a longer song. I also grabbed a snippet of Little V's cover for the intro, since I felt like the electronic intro from the release version would have been a bit too invasive.
I hope you all enjoy this mix! Who knows, I may start making more if this picks up.

Some big progress has been made on my work-in-progress overhaul mod, Drak's Spacial Shenanigans. I've completely reworked NPC ship stats and weapons, making them generally stronger for an added challenge. Also, as a bonus, building health has been increased after I discovered their properties. Today is a good day.

So, it turns out that modifying NPC weapons actually IS possible, as demonstrated by this clip here of enemy ships attacking me with the player's laser beam. Until I blow them up with the Autolaser, that is.

This is definitely in a very early stage of development, but hey! Turns out you can make tools require having a specific archetype by simply making them require having their respective Superweapons to purchase. So, theoretically, I can now make "pseudo-Superweapons".

After receiving several complaints (and also noticing it myself) about the AMGC's explosion effect causing a really nasty screen flash, I decided to change the effect. Although, in fairness, I found a much better effect. To be honest, I'm actually much more satisfied with it now.

This weapon is pretty much all set, no tweaks needed. Pretty glad that I got it right the first time without having to go back in to make additional changes.

Seems like this works pretty well as a standalone weapon with no upgrade tiers, all that's left to do is set it up in My Collections and add some finishing touches. Rapid fire destruction has never been more fun.

The flak rockets used by Colony Turrets are fully functional for player usage, as demonstrated by this video. Looks like I need to run some experiments, and see if I can turn this into a barrage weapon.

The Light Pulse weapon and its upgrade tiers are all fully functional, and they are gorgeous. All that's left to do now is add them to their appropriate My Collections tab, and I can call it a day with this new weapon to add to my currently WIP mod.

Effects and stats are in place, rate of fire has been doubled over the standard Pulse, targeting has been adjusted to not be able to hit vehicles. I think I can call this a qualified success for the basis of the Light Pulse weapon.

The results of experimenting with different projectile effects, I've discovered what effect the smaller enemy/NPC ships use for their Pulse attacks. I smell a new weapon to add to my currently WIP mod, Drak's Spacial Shenanigans.

Would it be possible to mod how the game generates The Grox?
I believe it is possible to increase or decrease the initial spawn number, yeah. I've seen mods that reduce them to merely one star system. I haven't modded Spore in a *WHILE,* though.

@@djt08031996 Ah yeah, I wouldn't know about that, to be honest. It may be possible with the Mod API, since it can do far more than previous modding tools, but that knowledge is beyond me.
