As much as I am enjoying the manga, I was pretty disappointed when the author used the "Indians wear turbans" stereotype in chapter 12 considering that the setting was in Calcutta where people didn't wear any turbans like at all.

No lie, you kinda need to read most of the 11 vol of CSM for a proper ranking (all of them if possible) mainly because the main cast has barely been introduced in vol 1. Still, if somehow you're short on time, "Look Back" or "Goodbye Eri" would enlighten you on Fujimoto's characterization (whilst remaining spoiler free in CSM)
