I had a similar issue with the 600 pro too. To this very day, I still don’t know exactly what causes it. My guess is its a combination of things ie: battery, Bad/faulty ECU, etc... Things start out fine until the bloody thing randomly decided to do whatever and crash ofc. Only helpful advice I can give u is to perhaps tether it until u are absolutely certain the problem is completely gone. It’s an expensive and time consuming venture when I personally wouldn’t trust a quad that does random things, let alone professionally.

Been fighting with DJI I bought a Matrice 600 pro in which came fully assembled except for the camera gimbal mount and camera, first flight never made it a foot off of the ground it flipped and crashed into the ground destroying props and A3 pro antennas. DJI said its my fault because the props were installed incorrectly that they installed, wish I would have filmed from unpacking through first flight. So far I feel your pain, extremely unsatisfied with DJI and wish I would have watched your video before my purchase of such an expensive piece of junk.

Hi Air Time Productions, it seems that when the guy in the video passes between you(tx) and the s600(RX) with his mobile phone starts the problem. Just an idea is that it may had interference from his mobile phone. and it came in failsafe mode, and fall wich happens in some rare cases.

Why did you do this directly into the sun. I lost my retinas half way through the flight test.

i have some problem... 2 motor is noise, if u moving with finger but on air nothing wrong sound. i hove that is fixation of stator. i will send it to service.

That thing is thousands of dollars, I would DEMAND a new one. You were way more calm than I would have been after it crashed, my head would have blown up. Post again when you find out what DJI did about this debacle.

Sorry to see your bird on the ground. It is disappointing to see a machine like this just drop out of the air such a big investment. I was hoping that this machine was the go too machine to bridge the gap between the phantom with wide open apertures that give poor focal lengths. We would like to use the M-600 for an x5 camera makes it a bit difficult if the software is not streamed lined and the hard ware is not tested enough. We will wait another 6 months maybe the M 600 VERSION 2 will be out to fix all of the faults. DJI customer service is DAM poor and they do not want to fix things and I kind of guess they are just hoping that you will go away. 22 email’s back and forth to fix a OSM. In the end the Video put up on drop box showing them that it was Faulty did it they told me the footage was normal but they had no explanation of why their gimbal would just flop down. AND YOU NEED TO Video the fault otherwise they will do nothing. all else fails put it up on u tube

I want to make sure we've updated all of the software for the system before we fly, and I haven't found a good resource that tells what requires updating, not how to update. Thanks!

Watching both this video and the crash. It seems to me the GPS & IMU values were not set correctly based on the X, Y, Z axis in relation to the CG. This is something you learn with a Naza M or smaller DJI multi-rotor. The Matrice 600 has 3 positions to place the GPS. You would need to match the values in the assistant software to ensure you are putting GPS in the default position or measure it yourself and adjust the values based on its new position.

I expected that "flip of death in A2 FC" will be disappeared in A3 FC. but, this video is really creepy. it make thinking for flip of death in A2 FC It is good thing for full refund. grid magnetic angle (between true north and magentic north) cause this crash? anyway, i think that we should wait if we will buy A3 FC... For FC belief, wookong-m, NAZA m V2 seemt to better than A2, A3
