There was clearly some wrestling going on cuz it took a while for black shirt guy to stand victorious ...he could have made an overture to the kid as he sold it right away ...but no. Lawsuit seems appropriate..

There's another video where you can see the kid stick his hand (which was empty) between the guys legs and try to grab it. Maybe he touched the ball, but if the guy in the black shirt is already on top of it, then it's his.

Resident expert here. The black shirt guy seems to have gotten there before the red shirt boy but it was still loose. Then at 0:25 you can clearly see the black shirt guy yank it out of the red shirt boy's right hand/arm and then raise it up in the air celebrating he got the ball and the boys reaction tells it all. Not rocket science folks. The black shirt guy definitely yanked it out of the boys hand but he seemed to be there first and closes to the ball. Somehow the red shirt boy got a hold of that ball with just his left hand and it took a few moments for that man to yank it out. Strange.

You can see the ball land in top of the table then roll onto the floor. The kid in the red never had the ball in his hand. Guy in black got the ball. In another video and different angle you see the guy in black secure the ball in-between his legs until the kid in red puts his hand up and down in disappointment that he couldn't grab it. The kid in red never had his hand on it. More than likely he will not win any law suit. I mean c'mon it belongs to whomever secured the ball not the one who didn't.

If you slow it down and pause it at 0:14 you can see the ball roll under the chair and the black shirt guy grabs it.

Actually I don’t think the guy in black got it first. You can see the ball bounce near both but the issue really is that when it’s on the ground the guy in black dove at him to get the ball. So if red shirt has his hand on the ball while standing it’s extremely unlikely he could have had his hand on that ball unless he had possession of it. You also have to factor in the gap in strength. I think it’s his ball and the guy in the black should not get a penny
