Britain in the 60s... what a folk scene. traditional but also open to pretty much everything.
So many great musicians experimenting at the same time, what a time it would have been to be alive...
@TheSlowMusicMovement it was fun but really a very short time.
Really wonderful.
Glad you're feeling it 🙃
oh ya
That descending bass line reminds me of something I can't put a name to, not in a bad way. I'm not a fan of added noise/interference/blown speakers, but the mix, dubbed up but not in that way that a lot of music seems now, just like Ive heard for 50 years, but dropping things in and out adding and subtracting is very cool. I like the odd touch of high life guitar. Oh, just got it, the bass... D'Angelo, and the way some of the voices are mixed, actually the whole production is... isn't it? Just looked and the "unmastered" version of this is on Bandcamp for $777!!! For a download. Maybe it's a typo...
The bassline certainly sounds pretty classic - in a chopped and screwed way, can't place it though. Agreed with the production, it's pleasingly murky and mashed. Make sure you check his first LP for more of the same, I think it's actually better, although I love both.
@@TheSlowMusicMovement as I read this I am actually listening to that earlier album! I agree and also think it is better. The new one is sort of chopped up which (I think) sort of annoys me.
@TheSlowMusicMovement I'll leave it with this... th-cam.com/video/8fNtipp5RLs/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
❤
I heard this on Bandcamp and it put me tears! In a great way! Thank you so much. I just bought the album on Bandcamp! Please could I have the lyrics? Is there someone I can email?
Even the album cover says ECM! I slight close cousin to Nils Petter Molvær perhaps. Loving it.
Not a million miles away from either, glad you're feeling it!
Thank you!
My pleasure mate, keep the music coming....
Great song
Glad you're feeling it. It's deep dance floor delight...
Bloody good start to a compilation.
nice!
lovely
so beautiful, I was about to sleep when I heard this and it just took me to a different country
I can imagine, it would be a perfect listen when you're a little tired and relaxing - transporting music. Glad you enjoyed it.
I wanted to hate it, but I loved it
Sorry to disappoint 😅 He really bangs out the releases but somehow manages to hold down the quality.
@@TheSlowMusicMovement it is sounding beautiful, just waiting on the double vinyl to drop through my door.....E Live's 7 inch of Make Me Move (Boogie Version) is my record of the year, wonderful stuff
Ακουστε με. Solo escúchame.
Nice one
Glad you're feeling it 🙂
wonderful!
Glad you're feeling it, she's a talent..🙂
awesome album. every song pure magic..
Glad you're feeling it. Another Bandcamp only underground release as well! Who needs streaming? Apart from me :)
Super smooth I love this 🔥🔥🔥🔥
She's great, such a good LP. Glad you're feeling it.
Yes loving this@TheSlowMusicMovement
the production of Charles. A.D. is top tier, I have to say
He's a great producer - pretty amazing considering he's a farmer!
loooove it
Glad you're feeling it 🙂
Very nice song thank you very much,🕊️☮️💚💛❤️🙏🍀🌞🌄
Glad you're feeling it, check out the rest of the EP if you get a chance, the other tracks aren't vocal but the vibes are similar...
oooooo
Exactly!
Another upload another banger ! You rock 🙌👁️
Cheers mate, glad you're feeling it, though rocking sounds a bit noisy! Can I Slock instead? 🙃
nice
Such a beautiful piece of groovy electronica. love it
On a very good label with a lot of great releases
@@Freehardy the label is a goldmine!
This is my favourite show so far. Loved that haunting, fragile opening track Hiroshi Ebina - Breath (Mystery Circles) 💗💗
So glad you're enjoying the show and thanks for the kind words, it means a lot. 🙂
Most welcome ❤ please continue doing what you're doing! You're a slice of calm in our busy days 😊@@TheSlowMusicMovement
Dream bells
I really like those guys. Their last album's not stopped being played.
I hear you, I revisited their first album over the weekend, they're a class act.

Welcome, glad you're feeling the vibe 🙂
!!!
its a beaut ;-)
Make sure you check out his previous reggae LPs as well - they're all crackers..
Visti ieri a ponte allo spino sovicille siena....spettacolari
Glad to hear she does the business on stage as well as the studio 🙂
I just discovered you and your radio show is a much needed respite from this chaotic world.
Thanks so much for the kind words, glad you're feeling the vibe ☺
💫
Brandon Tani makes the most wonderful music
Agreed, I'm a serious fan...
Very nice album. It reminds me of Cedric "Im" Brooks. That's high praise, and I'm not high. Everything Nat does is worth getting.
Agreed, not a bad release yet...
That start is within touching distance of Herbie Hancock's Chameleon, maybe a touch faster.
I was getting that vibe too, I also love the way it goes into dubbier disco, it's a real journey...
Soothing I’ll need to listen more to detect the meaning.
Check the release notes, it's a high concept, brilliantly realised LP
Thanks for sharing another gift!
Glad you're feeling it 🙂

Beautiful, with a sense of foreboding to my ears anyhow. The air itself is unsettled. Just my interpretation plus this is my first listen…. Thank you, this is new to me 🖤
Glad you're feeling it, make sure you check out the other 3 tracks as well, it's quite a journey!
Cool... heard on German radio* radioeins * Rbb
Great, I'm glad his music is seeping into the global consciousness - he's a great producer.
Music is the universal language
A natural successor to Ry Cooder
Huge thanks for highlighting this.
My pleasure 😊
I love this climate 👌🌞🌞🌞🌞❤️❤️❤️
Dust off your shorts and sandals, Summer is almost here 🌞
Yes is 🌞🌞🌞😊
Woah, I really like this song <3
You've read the email, now listen to the lyrics 😂
I am sitting here watching the breeze ripple through the grass that needs cutting and this pointillist orchestra is like the line from Laurie Anderson's Sharkey's Day, "All of nature talks to me. If I could just figure out what it was trying to tell me"
You'll have to start your own music blog at some stage, and don't worry about the grass, the insects will appreciate it...
@@TheSlowMusicMovement I have a wild area for insects, lizards and maybe small mammals... occasional snake I suppose and all the way up the food chain everything likes it.
Sometimes just a band name really is enough
Not sure if that is what his mum calls him?!
