Let's get this straight - NOTHING LIKE BabyMetal. OK? Nothing. Lovebites is a true band, they play all the instruments (extremely well I should add), and write or co-write all their material. Babymetal are performance artists with a backing band. A good one, but still, not at all a true 'band'. EAch has it's place, but Lovebites are easily the best metal band on Earth currently - their twin guitar work (Midori [blonde hair] Miyako [dark hair]) is unquestionably the best out there (try "Set The World On Fire" (live) to really see LBs guitar attack at their peak), Fami on bass is a cute little monster, and 4' 9" Haruna is called "The Big Little Engine" or good reason - all topped off by Asami on vocals and stage commander! You have scratched the surface of a monster that is the Lovebites catalog of 60+ songs none of which will let you down. 🤘🎸🐺

No, they are much different from Baby Metal. BMetal is corporation created idol metal while Lovebites is a genuin organic band the musicians found each other. They compose, write lyrics, and arrange their own songs, and play those with their instruments. They are coplete band.

Welcome to LOVEBITES 🤘🏼🐺🔥 Here some information about them: The band was formed in 2016 by original bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Their first EP and album both were released in 2017. So far LOVEBITES have already released 4 full length studio albums, 4 EPs, a best of compilation and a bunch of live albums, available on CD/DVD/Blu-ray. In 2018 LOVEBITES won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band. LOVEBITES have toured in Europe back in 2018/2019 and also recently in 2024. This also includes appearances at most European major metal festivals such as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop, Resurrection Fest and Hellfest. They also played their first US shows this year in September. In 2021 the band went into a hiatus, because founder and bassist Miho quit the band for personal reasons. During the break also two babies were born. LOVEBITES came back in October 2022 with new bassist Fami and a few months later with new album „Judgement Day“. Their newest release is „LOVEBITES EP II“ with 5 amazing new songs. The band members of LOVEBITES are (including their official nicknames) Asami on vocals (the one and only voice): She has an amazing vocal range and vibrato, writes most of the lyrics, also did parts of the song writing for their latest 2 albums, she is a former ballerina and RnB/soul singer Miyako on guitars, piano, keyboards (the golden touch): She is the musical brain of the band, main composer and arranger, a soulful but also shreddy guitar player and concert level pianist, furthermore she is a gear nerd Midori on guitars (crazy shredder): Incredibly fast and technical guitar player, has contributed to songwriting for a few of their songs, also she is a body fitness athlete Haruna on drums (little big engine): Plays very fast pace over long distances, she is very efficient and her stamina is admirable, the cymbal work is outstanding, she also wrote one of their songs including lyrics, creates handmade miniature fake food Fami on bass since 2022 (shining fingers): Absolute bass prodigy with outstanding technique, she speaks faster than sonic speed as she plays and smiles non-stop Miho on bass until 2021 (natural born headbanger): We will never forget her, she is a great bass player, she wrote several of the songs for the band’s albums 1-3

BABYMETAL is a special entity born from the project “Fusion of Idol and Metal,” and although they are not a metal band in the strict sense of the word, their influence on the stagnant metal scene is still significant. In Japan, band activities have flourished since the Beatles' first concert in Japan about half a century ago. This trend has continued uninterruptedly, and today there are more than 100 female bands alone. One of the top groups among them is Love Bytes. They made their major label debut just six months after their first show, and six months later they performed their first overseas concert in the UK. sorry, but you have some kind of problem with playing the video.

There are more mistakes in the video: The helmsman is standing in the middle of the deck and has no clear view. At one point he is standing next to the ship, the captain's cabin is huge. The biggest mistake: the red crosses on the sails. The ships are supposed to represent English ships. These sails really did exist, but they belong to Portuguese ships. Someone with specialist knowledge should check the videos. But: The album and the singles are great.

In the song my walden, NW talk about humans weaving from many coloured yarns, basiclly making your human life, and make your own little walden right, so the unweaving will come here as well, as it is the universe that weave and unweave the big patterns, but its not a bad thing, and the song also end with Floor screaming light.. its more a fasination of being a part of the secret stream(also mentioned in Lanternlight), and the power of the universe..

Another great line of Tuomas: "What's God if not the spark that started life" (last ride of the day). Just hold it against the Big Bang.

Tryed to rank the album songs, be aware the songs are quite new to me also, so i might rank it diffrent after more listens, maybe listening with the upcoming lyric videos, will change my scores.
