No payment... Mechanic/ Labor lien
Good job. 👍🏼 a cool trick is to weed wack the leaves once they are in the bins to chew them up to make space for more. Poor man’s chipper, it works.
Thanks! Definitely gonna give that a try next time 💪🏻
Great job my friend 💪🏽🔥
Appreciate it, thanks for watching! 🍻
Lol are you in eugene?
Nah, Santa Cruz
Why not use sheers?
Customer doesn’t like me using them. Or hedge trimmers.
@ ahhh yea that makes sense. (I was referring to hedge trimmers i always called them sheers)

Similar thing happened to me it ended up being engine mounts it's fine with out the fix
Yeah, it’s just a warning light for my oil. Just making a joke, a bad joke, but you get it haha
4700 worth of repairs... and you're complaining about an oil change. Just stop.
I’m making a joke 😂😂
I call this hat racking, they look like shit. It's way easier, better looking, and slower growing to do crown reduction or even drop crotch trees to keep the height down and it makes little sense to remove a canopy of a privacy screen. There is a time and place for pollarding, mainly for fruit production. Comparing your yard care services to power line clearance is not going to help you sell work, that's like a chef comparing his filet minion to McDonalds🤣 Not hating or saying that you are harming the tree, just pointing out that there are superior methods to achieving the same goal and there is a reason for the criticism. Become a master of your craft.
I was asked to do this by the customer. She didn’t know how big the trees were going to grow when she planted them. I’m only doing this to keep it at a desired height, that’s why I did it to a privacy screen. I’m not a tree guy, I do yards. I only did this cause I was asked, I’m not sure about the other methods you brought up, Thanks for the info though.
@@ArrowoodYardCare I get that too and sometimes you can present an even better solution for a customers problem than what they come up with on their own by being the expert they need. You are obviously doing trees though and there is way more money in tree pruning, small removals, and planting than weed whacking so it would be wise to advance your skills in that department and becoming knowledgeable rather than taking the defense and doubling down since others have obviously already told you that it's frowned upon. In my world money does indeed grow on trees and there is much more satisfaction in high end pruning as well.
Trust me, crown reduction will be found to be absolute hogwash. It's just topping a tree lightly. Doesn't make sense. The concept of crown reduction hasn't been around long enough to be proven as a viable size control method. You can do it once, but after that it gets pretty weird. Pollarding has been around for centuries and is definitely a viable way to keep trees shorter.
I'm a true believer in karma, you get back what you put out.
Why don't you talk to him instead of the internet. It's non of our business
I DID, read the other comments, and watch the video before you ask stupid questions.
Hey man, I like the videos, keep it up!
Thanks, definitely will do!
Full cleanup is on my channel!
Dude I've got news for you... Those are not trees. Those are tree stumps. They are LIVING tree stumps, but still just stumps, not "trees". I'm not criticizing you for it or finding fault, or being negative. I'm just speaking facts & calling it like it is. The definition of "Tree" includes "branches". So once you cut off all the branches, it's no longer a "tree". It is what it is.
Thanks for clarifying. I honestly didn’t know that.
@@ArrowoodYardCare This guy is incorrect. This is a pruning method called "pollarding", which is used to keep a tree from growing above a certain height. A "stump" is what's left behind after felling a tree.
What kinda tree is it?
Honestly, I’m not sure
Even a electric blower will make noise, dude you not going to win
Just trying to do my job
Everyone wants something for nothing
Seems that way
Your good people

The voice over is cool. It’s the looping the voice over into the replay of the video that’s getting old

I’m going to say you learned something and it’s good. Fine job!
Agreed, thank you 🙏🏻
I can't even imagine what a landscaper would do that only costs $200. Edging my 3 car wide 2 car deep driveway costs me $600, let alone "maintenance." If i found someone that reasonably priced, I would keep them so busy they may not be able to have other clients lol. Not paying, Id knock on the door. Look into a "contractors lein" not sure how they work or if there is a minimum
If they don’t pay and will not communicate with you about the bill . You can just stop working for them . Or you can send them a message that tells the customer if you don’t pay you will put a lean on the home for the money ! Or just walk away .
I’m just going to walk away, not worth the effort. Just getting other people thoughts on what they would do.
@ I ran my first company for 35 years and had a few customers not pay . It depends on the person you are dealing with. Most of the time I just walked away . Most called me back to resume work. I just told them , get square with me and we can go forward.
