What a great video! I love your choices of background music- they really add to the sense of wilderness and give the video a vast, empty feeling. Well done.
There were definitely places that were worse than others. We were there during a little bit of a heat wave so they weren’t very bad. My brother did two more trips to other river in Gates of the Arctic and both those trip he experienced more rain and a lot more mosquitoes. If you go pack a mosquito net.
Great video guys, very professional! l watched it in my ultra-wide monitor (21:9) so 1:1 ratio 🤩 What a wonderful experience! l really want to go and visit that area (l love Arctic regions), but maybe in winter. Let's see what life has in store for me. Thanks for sharing, ATB!
Great video but the comment about the only national park that doesn’t have any roads or infrastructure is not true. There are several in Alaska , Kobuk valley National Park being one
It’s fools like this without proper gear (SANDALS?!) or a clue as to what they are getting into that tax our rescue services and resources. Please, if you are coming to AK do the proper research and talk to guides so you don’t become a rescue or worse another ill prepared statistic.
Did you just watch the same video as I did? It looks like they did just fine to me. If they would have gotten into trouble, through their own fault, and had to be rescued, I could sort of see where a rude and hateful comment like yours might be called for. But in context, and considering they had a fun, successful trip that certainly did not "tax our rescue services and resources" in the least bit, you sound like a self-righteous idiot.
@@BrewmasterEZ Was going to say, why the hell would you carry that insanely heavy long gun if you're not hunting?! Stupid amount of gear, and apparently none of the right stuff that would've helped.
Amazing adventure, mate! Fascinating to me how vast and empty that part of the country is. You might find caves or waterfalls up there that few if any humans have ever laid eyes on
hello, I saw your gates of the artic video and I would love to hear about your experience for my student UX project. Let me know if you have some time, thanks
I’d say personal preference. It was actually easy to travel with. Could be considered a hassle to pack and take on the trip. Bear spray would be fine. Firearm also could be used in a survival situation. Plenty of grizzly bears and wolves up there but usually just run off.
"only way to get there" is, and always will be, hyperbole. People say this because they can't imagine actually having to walk, or ride a beast of burden, cross country anymore.
Real sweet. A tase of the Brooks. If only they would eliminate the eco-music so we could hear the sounds they heard and not the bs background music. I always wanted to see the Range, but I don't have the experience to do the trek so the scenery was a treat.
Is it ok If I use clips of this in my video about the park? Thank you!

Any [articular resource you used to plan the trip?
great video. curious why the rifle? seems a grizzly pepper spray canister or big hand gun would have been more convenient.
amazing journey, thankyou, I would have been scared of bears....
you bois love drama, eh ?!
Wow, that was amazing! Gods creation is incredible.
No mosquitoes or other insects!

Hi and thanks for sharing. Whats the name of the lake you have been dropped? Nice job guys. Tommy
Great video! Looks like a blast. What river were you on?

Geez...some people's conclusions from a few short seconds in a TH-cam video. 🙄
Great video! What an adventure!
Eric, thanks a lot! Good mood, beautiful places, calm story. I saw "Gates of the Arctic"! Now I want to go there!
Did you guys pack bear spray? Just curious
We did. My brother went back two more times and left the gun behind and just brought the spray.

Crazy! Grizzlies would scare the snot out of me constantly!
Go back to producing Eric. Amazing video.
Great job capturing the trip! And good edit :)
All that wet clothing could have been prevented simply by bringing a couple of big garbage bags

Amazing is all I can say.
Was packing a firearm worth the trouble

I would love this park, if only o was comfortable with camping!
Oh you weren't kidding when you said we'll be sleeping >>HERE<<! LOL. Thought you meant a local hotel, but no - the airport bench.
amazing
I can only assume how much effort it took to create this movie. I envy you guys in a good way👍👍👍
Massively underrated video and channel well done
I was eager to see some scenes od one of the most beautiful parks I ever visited and for half the time I saw only the faces of some posers. 🤮
Spent 40 days up there. Life changing.
Amazing video! Thanks!
What were the dates of your trip? Nicely put together film, very enjoyable!
This was in August 2010 or 2011. It's been awhile so I can't exactly remember the dates.
