Hey bro, so I have a 2017 wrx and I got all those issues he's talking about and the code coming up as ABS. BUT is it also making ur engine fan run 24/7 while the car is on?

There’s two ways I know of that u can do it. The way I did which is with the all4swap canbus converter which keeps all the dash stuff. Rn I have rpm, I don’t have speed cuz I didn’t connect the speed sensor but once I do I should have that. U can also wire in water temp for the temp guage which I didn’t do. Fuel guage works that’s seperate. The other way is using tuned by Shawn’s swap harness for this specific swap but you’d have to use a haltech ecu. U send him ur rx8 harness and a Honda engine harness and he creates a whole new harness. Plug n play very easy but very expensive that way

I think u will lose that feature yes. Not sure tho cuz I took my keyless module n all that out

😂ya prolly could’ve done it cheaper but it was my first swap, I bought a lot of new parts, bought a few things I didn’t need, a few surprises, and I had nothing to start with not even the car. Still I know ways I could’ve done a lot of thing cheaper but I just didn’t wanna go those routes. I wasn’t fussing too much over the money since it was over time so I wasn’t out looking for the best deals and stuff ya know

How much you got in the swap thus far? I have a RX8 I pulled the motor out of to rebuild the 6 port but depending on how much this swap costs I'd rather do this

Preciate the advice. I’ve already done every one of your suggestions except the removable cowel haha. This video was actually recorded earlier this year that’s why. I’ve been slacking on uploads. I did cut more of the firewall already and we welded in a plate and everything. I also want to make the vin part removable, how would you suggest I do that? As for the is250 link, i already shortened it and put it on, I just need to cut the steering column a little. And we did weld a plate where we cut in the subframe for more rigidity.

Preciate that. I prolly could have fixed it but I decided to move on just in case. Didn’t know how extensive the engine was damaged whether it was a small shift or whatever. I didn’t want to get the car back and fix it just for it to maybe blow up a month later cuz I missed something. Decided to just cut my losses and move on.
