@@hollypietrzak5214 Many times… it’s a college town, some people call it the “big city” of the UP. If ya go north of Marquette toward Big Bay or south of Gwinn (the old airforce base) or west of Negaunee and Ishpeming, it picks right back up.

Jacob it’s absolutely gorgeous! We were on the North Country Trail but we trailed off quite a bit to stay as close as we could to the Lake. Did you guys make it to Chapel Beach?

I’ve never really felt the the urge to own a summer home until visiting Munising. I’m so jealous of the folks who have a house on the Lake. So incredible!

@@janetdebris I had to go and double check the time and it's about 6 hours too. I'm almost certain that's what kept me from going back although 6 hours is not too bad.

Ando G yeah, 6 hours isn’t fun, but it’s not too terrible. But we come from Chicago so we get to follow Lake Michigan the whole way up so it’s a pretty drive.

Hey David! I can’t say exactly, but I do know it’s about a mile West from Chapel Beach on Lakeshore Country Trail. Have you been there? The entire trail along the lake is breathtaking!
