I own a Hydrostream Vector 17 xr6 30 pitch chopper 75miles an hour, not bad I love it so much, I'm in the process of getting a 15 Viper, so I'll have 2 Hydrostream boats, Awesome.

where are you guys located? ive got an 86 tunnel hustler with a 2000 merc 50 (baumann 21") 81 vector with 95 blackmax 200 (in the works with set up), and an 85 viper with a johnson v4 140 (spinnelli 24") ya'll should come to Cooperstown NY!

A shorty mid is sure a nice option on these hulls. Having 6 screaming cylinders of 2 stroke twisting around up high is a handful. I can remember my old cable and pulley would have your forearms pumped holding on to it at 100.

I like my streams but long live the 2.5 ltr offshore motors. Merc has been and still is changing the game every season but until they can make a 4 stroke lighter and lower then six cylinders of two stroke hell on earth will be the best thing for these little light weight hulls.

I commend you fellas you must have a big nut sack my boat is fast but it's heavier I run mine in Sacramento River doesn't matter how the water is we just adjust. For that day and we have plenty slews. I you don't have balls stay home. this fast is no place for pussys. Have fun be watching for ya

Amazing Run!!I had a vector comp hull with old 2.4 bridgeport motor open exhaust with a 31 spinelli prop , center steering, hot foot,trim on wheel. God they are fun and so out of control dangerous! . 🥰😎👍

Obsolete death traps with old dry fiberglass and and rotted transoms now , good luck with them or just buy a STV river rocket

Hey fella!! I had an 81 Sterling which is the same exact molding as one of the hydrostream s, vector, I believe. I had a beefy 150 Mercury on it and she would run about 87MPH. I had the windshield as well. I wish I would've never sold it. They're hella fun!!

Dad had a couple of Hydrostreams growing up, we raced them in the Delaware Valley Boat Racing Club. We experimented with a Land and Sea turbo on a Merc Mod VP with milled heads, av-gas, jack plate and chopper wheel. We saw 90 on the speedo before a bunch of engine parts started shooting out and hitting the back of the boat! Probably easy to hit 90 or more with today's outboards..
