This was on the P&O Azura Valentines cruise 2023 around the Canaries & Madeira. What guts me about this is how you go on about being a parent that missed first tooths, first steps and how you've got 4 kids! Absolutely diabolical! Obviously forgot about the 2 extra sons you have Jamie and Josh not to mention the daughter no one knew about Jodie! Your son Jamie goes to counselling on a weekly because he has long term psychological issues due to his dad being there 1 minute n fucked off the next. Atleast 4 of your kids got the better version of you Neil. I don't know much about Jodie however I know an awful lot about Jamie n Josh! Josh living in America working in biochemistry < something you should may be proud of and your other son bends over backwards to make sure he is there for the late night feeds, nappy changes and he is there to show my kids (that aren't his) what love really is. This video makes me feel so angry for Jamie, Josh n Jodie. Imagine watching a video of a cruise Jamie has been asking to go on for over 30 years whilst his dad stands there boasting about the 4 wonderful children he has knowing full well you have 7 THAT YOU KNOW OF. Fucking disgusts me. A shame people only see a captain. I see a total bell end. I said what I said.

Been a few years since i was at Blackpool!
This was the first time since childhood that I'd been up the Tower (and we only live down the road in Lytham, so no excuses really!!), but it was great to take the kids - they absolutely loved it! 😊

@@CruiseLife22 Most probably the Fjords although I think it will be next May half term as we've got other Uk breaks arranged for this Summer. It's quite frustrating being restricted to just the school holidays, as it's obviously a bit more of a limited choice at generally a premium price! 😉 have you got another one planned?

Yes, they were really good! Although, I felt a bit sorry for them at this point as most people had gone to dinner or the theatre - felt like they were just singing to us!

I did think that, he probably has a handful up his sleeve so that he can alternate for people that are maybe on a 2 week cruise! Such a nice down to earth bloke though, not what I was expecting 😉
It was good to be on Azura again. Very familiar with it now. It seems like the ship had been abandoned. All eating or watching the entertainment I suspect. Of course you have to have a photo on the large deck chair. Seeing the gym reminded me that I didn't use it this time. Too busy walking around ports or sunbathing! I like the animated walls in the Planet Bar.
Thanks for watching Jim! The ship was so quiet outside at night which was perfect for our little walking tour. As you could tell, we hadn't found the gym until that night, we too must have been too busy sunbathing, walking and of course dining! We loved the Planet bar, it was so chilled out - even during the day when the bar was closed we'd often just go up there to reflect and watch those lovely animated world images! 😉🛳

I know, they were so lovely! I can highly recommend Azura 🛳- It was very chilled walking round the boat at night with hardly anyone about! We've also done a couple of walk round videos at night, if you get chance to have a look 🤩

Oh, what a fantastic depth of balcony - totally see what you mean about it being overlooked. Also, you really need to lean over to look down on those rooms below you - I thought it would be far more intrusive!
Yes it really was a great balcony. If you wanted to sit out and not be seen, there was plenty of space under the cover of the balcony above, but then plenty more in the full sun if you don't mind being overlooked - best of both worlds really ☺ Thanks for watching!
Great cabin tour, such a huge room. The dressing area is a bonus and the balcony is huge.
Ah thanks very much! It was a great room, perfect size for me and my son. We'd heard before booking that the balconies on C Deck were double depth, so we chose the Select price and pre-booked one of those cabins as close to the centre of the ship that we could get to help with any potential seasickness as it was our first cruise! I must admit, I did like chilling outside on the balcony late at night when we were at sea, so relaxing - apart from one particularly windy night (force 5 apparently) when I couldn't open the patio door, it's like they had remotely dead-locked it to stop people going outside when it was a bit rocky!!! 😆

Ah thanks for the kind comments! ☺I did feel a little sea sick the day before, but luckily I had bought these little patches before we went - amzn.to/3JBe3ZV that really helped. You can either put them behind your ear/on belly button, I tried on belly button and they worked a treat as it was a lot more rocky during the night! 😉 🛳

Well....... firstly I never ever comment or post anything but having just experienced my 1st P&O 'Azura' cruise, I feel I must say what a fabulous experience I had & whilst each and every one of the staff throughout the ship were 2nd to none, my sincere thanks must go to Captain Neil Turnbull, who made my 1st cruise experience one to remember... his amazing natural sense of humour completely made my holiday & to replay this video this evening only reinforces what a fabulous person he is & what a true ambassador of P&O he clearly is..... thank you Neil..... we need more like you in this world xx

I totally agree about Captain Neil Turnbull, it was our first cruise aswell, don’t know if you were on the same one (Valentines cruise), but he was so down to earth, wonderful sense of humour and just a genuine nice guy! It certainly makes me want to book with P&O again, all the rest of the staff were amazing too, they were so friendly and accommodating! Many thanks ;)
We had him on our first cruise on Aurora in 2018, we were some of the youngest on board, he came and chatted to us in the lido as he was passing through and we told him it was our first. He then made a point of coming and saying hello to us every time he saw us to see how we were finding it. Fabulous guy.
