With talent like that, I know your stuff will be equally rippin'! John Sykes is one of my favorite axe men from the 80's. I saw Whitesnake a few times with John back in 85'-'87 if I remember right. I'm old and my memory isn't what it once was. I've seen a lot of shows in my day. 400 at last count. Van Halen when they were listed on a ticket as "special guest", Metallica in '85 as the "warm up" band before Night Ranger and Y&T. US Festival, Joshua Tree tour, Front row for SO many Dio shows and 17 times seeing Rush. Most of my faves come from the 70's and 80's with some Prog/New Metal scenes. I huge fan of Godsmack and Disturbed. From the 70's-80's my top 5 are Alex Lifeson, Jimmy Page, Randy Rhodes and Eric Clapton. Honorable mentions to John Skyes, Jake E. Lee, Gary Rossington/Allen Collins (Skynyrd) Tommy Skeoch/Frank Hannon (Tesla) and Vivian Campbell/Craig Goldy (Dio) -PhantomF4G
