      He really prefers the feel and consistency that comes from MVP/Axiom. He feels it’s easier to fill the slots he wants and knows which ones to get dupes of if they’re needed. And the love for gyro technology. We’ve only ever been sent 2 discs to test and they were both Mint discs and sent from one of their pro sponsored players in Texas. We aren’t big enough to get sent anything

    Great stuff! Have you tried throwing tomahawk/thumber with lightweight discs? I couldn't either throw these until I got a lucid air felon and an opto air ballista pro in the 150-gram range. Then no more pain. 😊

    • @insidethecircledg
      @insidethecircledg 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yea, the only disc in the bag I throw (threw) overhand was the blizzard boss. The blizzard plastic is their super lightweight plastic which I always thought would help from blowing out my shoulder. But I still damaged it at some point and now any overhands hurt a lot. My main issue seems to be when my shoulder is extending and adducing from an overhead position. Same pain happens with pushups and bench pressing tho as well

    What weights do you use on the drivers? Im getting anywhere to 350-390 on my straight drives, on a good drive! Just curious since im going down under 167 now for most of the 9+ speeds.

    • @KevinYuen-xk4uo
      @KevinYuen-xk4uo 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ezinspired5093 hey! Great question, I’ve recently been testing out lighter weights into higher 160s but most are 172+grams. I’ve been able to push high 300s-400s with my drivers at 172+ so seeing if the lighter weight i can push for further. The biggest thing u notice is type of plastic affecting most of the stability vs the weight of the disc. I.e my neutron Tesla which is 174g has more turn pushes straight and then fades, can even hyzer flip it if i crank on that bad boy. But my proton Tesla 167g has way more stability and has little turn, stays straight then fades. My 14.5 speed drivers i keep a little lower in weight being 171g due to the amount of arm speed required of it. PSA for all watching: be on the lookout for a ITB update on discs as some have been added and some removed!

    Ma3 players having youtube channels and in the bags is a delusion that needs to stop in disc golf. Everyone thinks theyre bonanza now.

    • @publiclandarcheryallies7404
      @publiclandarcheryallies7404 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The majority of the players in the disc golf community are probably rated between 700 and 850. Not tournament players, but the ENTIRE community. So I’d assume MA3 or MA2 in the bags way more relatable. What does a Simon or Barela or Wysocki in the bag do for any average player? In Barela’s he talks about using a beat in Force as a long turnover disc option. Please find me an average player who is turning over a 12 5 0 3 disc, even if beat in. Gannon talks about bagging certain putters and mids that he uses for 400ft shots, how is that relatable when most players can’t throw 350-400ft with drivers?

    • @KevinYuen-xk4uo
      @KevinYuen-xk4uo 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @publiclandarcheryallies7404 appreciate the love and support! For sure i wish i could be like the pros but unfortunately im working through being born with baby t-Rex arms 😅 one day my arm speed will be there where maybe i can turn over a high speed overstable disc. I still stand by if you have fun out there what else does it really matter as it brings people together outdoors. And if you can win some tourneys and get better all on the journey why not? Haha. Once again appreciate the love and support and hope you enjoyed the video!

    • @insidethecircledg
      @insidethecircledg 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In this video we showcase one of our MA3 players who utilized a popular trend right now of using MVP built bags. As many other recreational and lower level players are trying to do the same, they may be looking for advice on what’s comparable to them. It’s for them to decide ultimately. But everyone enjoys having someone relatable to model themselves after. Bo”d”anza is an extreme outlier and fascinating specimen of what we all strive for in this sport. But content is content, here to be viewed by anyone who wants to watch it.

    • @Salsaprime
      @Salsaprime 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Amateur bags are way more relatable. I just started a few months ago. I don't have near the arm speed, distance, or shot shapes that the pros do. So their bags mean squat to me.

    • @aaronhackett5889
      @aaronhackett5889 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Amateur itbs are my favorite! I'm not going to change my bag because I'm old and set in my ways, but it is fun. I especially like how everyone on the TH-cam throw 175' further than I do.

    Interesting that the Eclipse Lift flew similar to your KT Grace. I got one of those blue Lifts but still haven’t really taken it out to test it much. Lost my Grace last summer but didn’t even consider the Lift as something that might even be close. I’ll have to try it again now that the weather is nice where I’m at.

    • @insidethecircledg
      @insidethecircledg 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s worth some throws! I’ve watched some other videos where people have been pleased with the Lift. I will say that after I made this video I played with it again and two of my throws were more understable than I was expected from that first outing. Now was that user error? Or increased wind, maybe. But consensus is that it’s a long straight flyer

  • @wakingupfromhistory7474
    @wakingupfromhistory7474 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I suspect from your reviews of the individual discs/molds, that you’ve a higher arm speed than I, and consequently I love my Insanities, the way you love your Teslas. I’ve 3 Fission Insanities that are in varying beat-in stabilities, and a Cosmic Neutron one for wind or fade. As a fellow MA3 gyronaut, I enjoyed this video a lot. Good work. Now I need to get my hands on a Tempo and a Watt.

    • @insidethecircledg
      @insidethecircledg 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      ITCbrandon here: I’m an MA2 player with decent arm speed and I heavily rely on my two Insanity’s. I use a fission one for hyzer-flip and turn as well as a neutron Insanity as more of a straight pusher. I also bag a Fission Crave for that shorter distance push through tunnel shots in the woods 👌

    • @KevinYuen-xk4uo
      @KevinYuen-xk4uo 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @wakingupfromhistory7474 so happy you enjoyed it and hopefully we can get a round in some time as a fellow ma3 player. My arm speed is improving but can’t say is the best. I do love the insanity as it’s becoming more and more useful the more i play different courses. I love the reliable flight i get out of it especially for backhand turnover shots. OTB open this year had a new proton soft tempo coming out!!! Preorders are flying in for it. Watts are just so money. If you like the glitch you’ll love the watt imo for actual reliable tournament play usage.

    How do you compare the pixel to the proxy? Picked up a proxy in my gyropalooza box and I've been enjoying putting with it. Pixel looks similar.

    • @KevinYuen-xk4uo
      @KevinYuen-xk4uo 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @krisgonewild1 hey there! For me personally the biggest differences are the glide and the electron blend of the pixel that really set it apart. I came from putting with anodes that sometimes i just found working C2 putts to be really strenuous sometimes and kept hitting cage vs chains. Even though i bag the proxy, i don’t use it for putting or haven’t tried much at all but i do know throwing flight-wise the proxy definitely has more turn than the pixel and is definitely shallower in hand feel. Both for throwing can be hyzerflipped for long distance throwing with the putters. Not my opinion, but from others who do putt with the proxy, they tend to find the biggest difference in hand feel. One of the most sought after newer discs due to popularity of Simon Lizette does have a deeper hand feel and that is one of the biggest complaints I’ve heard from people trying to putt with the pixel. Since my anodes were not too far off from the pixel the change was very minuscule for me as i also have slightly larger hands. Those who tend to putt with the proxy often say that the pixel is too deep or not comfortable in their hands. Deeper dive is style of putting as well. I’m generally a little of a hybrid spush putter (more spin than push) and the deeper profile discs don’t seem to phase me as much. Overall: i think both are great putters and can be used interchangeably based off of personal preference. If you are cashing in those chains with the proxy then I’d say if it works it works. Go with what feels comfortable for you as opposed to “the hype”. For me i switched to fill needs of my own playing competitively to adjust for easier use for longer distance putts coming from the anode. If you’re looking to try a pixel they’re definitely a ton of fun and i noticed a difference in the glide and feel of the plastic immediately. My buddy Brandon and i stopped at a local disc golf store and even found some brand new pixels in the used bin for cheaper prices that you might be able to snag at your local shop too! As long as you cash those chains and have fun in your rounds that’s all that matters! Hope this helped!
