what did you use as a termal insulator on that pulltruder? capton tape and ? what's that white wool??

My joins always brake.. I've tried everything but they always brake trying to pass the pulltruder.

A spring loaded cutter that forms both ends to link like an arrow in a slot is an idea I have rolling around in my head. Sharing here incase someone more "mentally organized" than myself can play off the idea and even pull it off. A simple insert into tool, smash with hand and done method. Cant use heat because it risks hitting the pet crystaline state where it doesn't like to do much work.... Making this recycling FAST from strips is a big deal and we really have to figure this out.

Too much work for nothing, i joint the filament and roll it in a big spool, much easy and pratical, but thanks for your video

Isn’t just welding/joining the pultruded filament just quicker and easier? When I’m doing 25-30 bottles, I don’t want to spend a lot of time in the joinery.

You can take the label glue off with heat instead of solvents, as part of expanding (which most bottles nowadays need anyway to get rid of molded ridges/texture and get a uniform flat wall to cut).

Does the adhesive or any leftover residue cause any issues with the filament when printing?
