I hope this mod gets open sourced, a lot of awesome mods like this end up dying off because of a lack of people to maintain it (thaumcraft is a great example of a extremely popular mod that died like this). Plus this is the type of mod that would benefit greatly from community contributions to add new custom story arcs, custom transformations, and more. If this is handled right this mod absolutely has the potential to harbor a modding community that could continue to breathe life into it for a long time like mugen, xenoverse, and even minecraft itself.

3 years later and the mod is still not out. Only paid access for the beta version which I am now beginning to think is just a cash scam given the overall silence pertaining to release dates, and a devlog that hasn't been updated in 2 years. They're still showing videos and stuff, but they get super dodgy any time you bring up a release date as if you're being a nuisance.

Naruto's biggest issue was the fact that it hated itself. If you pay attention to what they were trying to do in part 1, you'd notice that they wanted the story to focus on the clans with powers (Uchihas, Hyugas, Haku's clan, etc...), but in Shippuden it moved on to "smaller villages matter" which was totally fine, but then....You know the rest. Kishimoto couldn't stick with anything without getting bored of it after a couple years, the story feels like it was written by several people who couldn't agree with each other.

This is the true criticism from the true Naruto fans. I applaud you for this.

It would have to be released and be for sale for it to be a scam. The only people whom have stakes in it at the moment are the dev team and the publishers. It just sounds like they revealed it too early. They're pretty transparent about what they're doing and it isn't crowd funded, so I kind of doubt it will be one. Games can take years to develop, the average large scale game takes about 5 years, 6-7 years isn't bad.

*I normally buy 2 AAA games a year but now its ever hard to do that, everything is so recycled and below average 👎 I don't even know if I will buy a game this year, I'm only halfway interested in Infinite Wealth....and maybe Assassins Creed Red?????* 🕵
