when reading, scholarship and knowledge are out of fashion today which was the base of hinduism, obviosly Shouri's of the world will be abused and acused. loudest are those today who need 2 tight slaps every minute to make them read about India before they abuse bharat by lending their stinking voice to raise slogans like bharat mata ki jay and vande matram or cow is our mother etc. strange is the coincidence that the nationilsts today are also the frequent abusers of mothers and sisters.

I think Shourie is completely hypocritical. The way the media house owner Shankar Sharma (Tehelka) was harassed by the Vajpayee government has not been done by UPA or Modi government. Shourie was not only part of that government , but was the main pubic advertiser of the same. For example the whole “eminent historians” book was written as articles in IE when he was a minister. So by that standards , if anybody can be compared to Gobbles it would be Shourie. I am an admirer of Shourie in general and do not hold the above view, but this is just applying his current logic to his past.
