I am raising money for the mental health hospitals in SW London, including Springfield Hospital, which is extremely close to my heart. I spent 4 years of my life in and out of therapy appointments and A&E, due to various problems I was facing. Every person I encountered along that journey always helped to show me that there was hope for me to get better, but I just had to keep trying. It was hard, but I did it thanks to them.
I honestly don’t know if I’d be here today if it wasn’t for the incredible people who helped me along the hardest path I’ve ever faced. They somehow managed to make me remember the good times I had rather than the bad and I can’t thank them enough. I’ve always wanted to give back to them somehow...so here we are!
My mum had radiotherapy a few years ago and I promised her that I would shave my hair off for her one day, because I could see the distress it was causing her - it looks like Tuesday 31st July 2018 is that day! I will be donating my hair to The Little Princess Foundation, who create wigs for children with cancer. I have seen first hand the difference a wig can make to someone in that situation xx
