Years in the making

I was super excited (and proud) to get an invite to Noah's school assembly yesterday. The entire school, along with parents of the second grade (Noah's current classmates) celebrated the procurement and installation of the Buddy Bench. About one year ago, Noah brought an idea to Lisa Steadman and me that I thought was wonderful. He told me that Troy School should install a buddy bench so kids will always have a friend to play with. I encouraged him to tell his teachers at that time who in turn told the principal of Troy School, Kevin W Stone Principal. He and the teachers agreed that this was a great idea as well! Over the course of the past year, Noah has been relentless in communicating his dream to make the school and the playground experience for all kids better... and Dr. Stone and his team have been resolute in finding a way to get the funding and make the Buddy Bench a reality. #celebrateMRSD #buddybench #newhampshire #community #education
