Hello, everybody! I am *so, so sorry* that there hasn't been any videos on this channel in so long. I've been pretty busy with outside life, but hopefully, this video should make up for my long absence!
Anyways, this is the final game before the playoffs begin. We play against the Baltimore Orioles in this video. So far, for the whole season, we've only lost one game, but won the rest.

Nothing too major, although things do get a little hard to watch during the bottom of the fourth inning, but thankfully nothing too bad happens after that. As suggested by PepsiBoyTTV, I moved Derek Jeter to shortstop, put Stephanie at right field in his place, and swapped Ernie and Achmed around. I'm going to see how this works out. ;)

I actually played a full season with who I thought was the worst team in the game: Marky, Jorge, Angela, Tony, Gretchen, Reese, Sally, Billy Jean, and Luanne. (1/3)
I threw a few games to start the season by not swinging at anything for three innings, but STILL managed to go 8-6 and narrowly miss the All-City BBL Playoffs. This was mostly because I had no idea that Luanne is a speedster and Sally could pitch no-hitters.
One game, I had a 0-0 tie going into the bottom of the 13th inning. First Sally came up and hit a single. Then Luanne came behind her and grounded into a fielder's choice. The fielder's choice to get Sally at 2nd made sense at the time, but hoo boy was he in for a shock. My next batter was Reese. I had Luanne steal 2nd. The catcher, trying to do damage control, decided to throw to 3rd. Only problem? The third baseman was not standing on the bag. The ball went into the outfield, while Luanne rounded 2nd on her way to 3rd. The next problem? The left fielder was not in position to back up the throw. By the time he got to the ball, Luanne was already rounding 3rd. The throw home was not in time. I don't think you could have scripted a better pitchers duel.
I think Luanne is a good pitcher, she can strike out a lot of children

Jorge showing off the power buff he got from 1997 to 2001! Especially with a pitch like the one you gave him, it's not hard to hit a home run with Jorge in 2001. Although it's not common, it's not rare. For your interest, Jorge's swing power went from really bad(31/100 swing power) in 1997 to really good (82/100 swing power) in 2001. If you can time his swing his 56/100 contact + 82/100 power in 2001 and 2003 makes him a pretty solid power hitter. Along with Jorge, when it comes to getting buffed from 1997 to 2001, Vicki also got a buff. She went from 1/100 power + 15/100 contact in 1997 to 25/100 power and 25/100 contact in 2001. Even if you didn't learn anything new, I hope you enjoyed the read!

I used an emulator called the ScummVM. As for the game itself, I'm not sure where I got it from, but all you have to do is type up something like "Backyard Baseball 2001 ScummVM" and look for a website where the game works on the emulator.

Why exactly is Mr. Clanky on this team when you could have hired Kimmy? Also, having Marky and Billy Jean on the same team gives Marky a boost, plus he gets a boost from playing against the Socks.
I wanted one player with full batting and pitching stats, plus I wanted to use Mr. Clanky at least once. I know that, that's exactly why I put them both on the worst team possible :P

I hate to "burst your bubble" but it's far from 'rare' to hit a home run with Kimmy. With 72/100 swing power and 45/100, I think, Contact, she actually has one of the stronger bats of the league.
