"Bruise Bro"-Top 5 NHL Fights-Joey Kocur
มุมมอง 25Kวันที่ผ่านมา
From Kelvington, SK, 6'0 220lbs, Joey Kocur was among the NHL's fiercest enforcers of the 80s and 90s, with feared punching power in both hands. Joey has said that he would picture punching the back of an opponents skull so that he punched through their face... Joey racked up over 2500 Career Penalty Minutes over 15 seasons with Detroit Red Wings, New York Rangers, and briefly the Vancouver Can...
"Grim Reaper" - Stu Grimson - Top 5 NHL Fights
มุมมอง 63K14 วันที่ผ่านมา
As requested multiple times in the comments, Stu Grimson took an odd route to the NHL. He played three seasons with the Regina Pats (WHL) and two seasons at the University of Manitoba. Drafted twice, first by the Detroit Red Wings (1983) and then by the Calgary Flames (1985), he eventually played 729 NHL games over 14 seasons for the Calgary Flames, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings, Hartfo...

"Twister" - Tony Twist - Top 5 NHL Fights
Tie Domi is easily my favorite Leaf of all time 😂. He didnt play hockey, he genuinely did not give a shit about the game. All he cared about was beating people up over the softest things 😂😂😂
I watched a game where Detroit had a payback moment. They put Joey and Bob out there. After the puck dropped all five players of the other team all crunched into their own corner with the puck screaming to the refs to save them. In over 50 years of watching hockey I have never seen that before or after that time. That's how intimidating it was when Joey and Bob Probert were out there together
Stu was afraid and got beat badly by Joe Kocur, Stu was overrated
Kocur was the man and then some..My favorite fighter..
COOPERALLS!!!
Gotta give Kordic some credit, he took a lot of shots in that first tilt and came back to land a few himself.
Troy Crowder fight should have been in it
Funny how no one ever mentions how quickly Probert's jersey and pads came off in a fight. Being the supposed toughest guy in his era, you'd think he wouldn't have to resort to such little b**** tactics.
Kocur the real hands of stone
Now that Im old hockey fights kind of sucked
Darren Langdon please!
Brad May could possibly handle Probert, May was a golden gloves boxer
NHL enforcers must have had knuckles of stone to just keep throwing those punches as they hit a helmet or the back of a head, lol.
Dave Brown was a goon without honor: jump from behind, sucker shots, foil on hands, doctored uniform so tough players could not engage fairly and fighting opponents at the end of their shift. Miller never lost to Brown. Look it up.
Domis best highlight is being bobs punching bag
Domi would celebrate even when he got smoked lol
Night night Jim Kyte. He got knocked out cold by Kocur as well
Where's the rest of his face?! All I see is a nose wearing a helmet
Gallant was tough as nails man he reminded me of a young Kocur. Especially when he was in the AHL
Did mcsorley ever even have a goal? Lol
Domi got dummied
R.I.P Mr. Probert. I watched him in the glory days of the 80s and 90's, he could score, play and enforce
The best chirping in hockey history 😂
God I miss Wade Belak’s humorous presence in the game…he would have an AMAZING podcast, or be a fantastically entertaining analyst… God Bless him for the memories
That HAS TO BE Jack Edwards announcing the Bruins game…doesn’t stop talking about 1 right hand landed by Jay Miller…while Brown landed about 10-12 SOLID lefts…
I know lol miller got smoked and his " one " punch didn't do anything. Miller was a quantity over quality puncher
My GOD Probert was SSSOOOO over rated! I really don't know why he didn't play with a painted on jersey! He's a 50/50 fighter when the jersey stays on!
I did a tour of the Joe Louis Arena right before it was demolished. Of all the great history, Bob Probert had passed away ( to my surprise) and wished his ashes were laid in the penalty box. Bad ass dude that loved hockey.
I love Tie as much as anyone, and I used to chant Domi in the Jets 1.0 back in the day. But honestly, he got pummeled in far more than he won.
What are you talking about???? Pummeled??? More than he won??? That’s delusional
@@Jimmythefatdog uh oh. we might need some video evidence of this claim. I don't remember Domi getting pummeled more than he won either
I'll agree to the point that he'd take a ton punishment but I'd argue it was usually playing possum a lot of that time. It's been said that punching him was like punching a fire hydrant and he rarely get stung by anything. You'll aost always see him bend over, let the other guy swing and launch a bomb from down low timed to catch the other guy mid-swing. It's just how he fought.
@@EnforcersHockey watch him smiling during absolute BATTLES!! My good friend, Terry Ryan (though in no way in Domi’s class; was a tough, tough guy that fought ANYONE) fought him 3 times. As he told me…’you have no idea how disheartening it is to punch a guy with everything you have. With the same punches that has won you fights, and to not only have it hurt your hand, but to see him smiling back at you’!!
He lost every fight he had with Rob Ray lol
Well no need to zoom-in the picture to 16/9. Leave it at 4/3 it's fine 📺
Tough to pick only 5 from Browns great career
Chris Simon please!
He man handled Domi!!!
I met Tie Domi in a bar in Kingston , he was with Doug Gilmour and Kirk Muller, they were playing pool and their cue ball wouldn't return. Domi decides to go to another pool table where people were having a game and steals their cue ball. The other player a friend of mine didn't care who Tie Domi was and went and snatched back the cue ball from him. Tie then goes an sits on their pool table and wouldn't let them play. So the bouncer a friend of ours, "HOUSE" who is 6'7 and 350 pounds goes over to TIe and tells him that he did care how tough he was on the ice that if he didn't get off the pool table he would show him how things were done in Kingston. Tie did a really smart thing, he got off the table and left the bar ASAP.
Probert could only fight with his hands, never shoot a goal I think. He was in the wrong sport, should fight with Tyson. But I like to play against such icehockey idiots and give them a hard check on open ice and send them right back to the dressing room.
Missing link...I was there..jla
I was watching the fights one night and a hockey game broke out....
Lol…Churla picked the fight then gets royally F’d up then the Rangers bench starts whining!? 😂
When I was in second grade I had to write a one page short story once a week and I would always just write down me calling a fake hockey game play by play and there would always be a probie fight in one of the periods.
The days when a Satan played in the NHL. 4:18
80s hockey in Calgary was 🔥
When bougard fought, back at the good old days, anyway, he git into a scrum and fell backwards hitting the ice hard, he died from CTE, seems like yesterday
Kocur was a beast
Link Geatz was the tuffest guy to ever play the game ,Now you know
Troy Crowder is my pick for toughest dude of that era.....
No
A bum who lost al his fights.
Who is so stupid that you wanna fight with Kocur? Then it is up to you that you fall unconscious to the ground.
Man,those were the days here in Detroit!
Hey Timmy ? You got them gloves cemented on ??? Lol
That would be a good Slap Shot quote 😂
NOBODY who has the slightest bit of knowledge on NHL Heavywieghts can say a negative word about TIE Domi. He was pound for pound one of the best to ever do it.
He was 🗑
