Bama Hill-Billy
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 29 ก.ย. 2007
I make no claims to be an expert regarding ANYTHING. I'm just a regular Hill-Billy going through life. I use the term Hill-Billy affectionately. I did live a few years in West Virginia. I realize most of us aren't really Hillbillies! I have a long history of shooting starting with the USMC in 1986. I have shot many government owned - and my own - weapons since then. I shoot (qualifying) against other LEOs many times a year and while I don't claim to be the best, I'm certainly a 95%er versus the people I shoot with. I carried a Sig 228 for many years and shot at least 5,000 rounds through it. The Sig never malfunctioned, ever. The Sig was replaced with a Glock 22 which I carried for well over a decade and shot well over 10,000 rounds through it. The Glock 22 never malfunctioned. The Glock 22 was replaced by a Glock 19M. This channel is not meant to offer advice. Also, when I review something, realize it is a sample size of ONE. Do more research before purchasing whatever I reviewed.
9mm Equal To 40SW Is Political…Believe It Or Not!
Guys, I'm not picking on the FBI. They are just what most people think of when they think of a federal agent. There are a million different alaphabet agencies. I mention them because most of the other agencies follow FBI's lead. If FBI goes to the 40...the other agencies follow. If the FBI switches back, the others eventually do too.
Guys in FEDERAL law enforcement - BRAINS are the most important thing an AGENTS can have. The FBI was around for about 30 years before agents were allowed to carry firearms. They originally hired smart people to investigate crimes and used local police to do enforcement actions.
Federal criminal investigations are usually latger and more complex than state and local investigations. And female agents are absolutely equal to males when it comes to criminal investigations. There are good men and good women investigators and there are lazy men and lazy women investigators. It is equal.
And there isn't a doubt in my mind the real reason for the switchback was because of WEAK thinking MEN in high positions. The weak men in charge made the change because they "thought" it would be easier for female agents. This would not be on paper anywhere that someone could find. Probably on a few emails, but no one would ever admit it.
But, out in the field, female agents had no trouble with the 40SW. The very high ranking men in charge, being political, made this decision.
And guys there is nothing wrong with the 9mm. Great round. Usually more capacity in similar weapons vs. the 40 or 45. We all own 9mm weapons. I am just saying stop repeating nonsense about the 9 and 40 being close. They are not close. I'm tired of hearing guys say a dipdunk agency found blah blah blah. They were changing no matter what so they put a few bullshit studies out there to make it look like the two rounds perform similarly. Stop believing and repeating everything an agency states. There is 20 - 35% difference and that isn't close!

OK To Keep Mags At FULL Capacity?
มุมมอง 686 หลายเดือนก่อน
Yes! I did it for over two decades. It is policy for probably most LEOs. Load mag to capacity. Place in weapon. Chamber a round. Eject magazine and add one. That is DUTY carry. And to tell you reality...in 25 years of qualifying and shooting 2 days every quarter...hundreds and hundreds of rounds...I had one failure in 25 years. It was with the 19M. And I am not knocking it...because we are talk...

Im probably going to catch a little hate but im just not a glock fan. I have 2 that were dads but was never very impressed by them. They have improved over the years but im not a glock guy.
What grain bullet?
Sorry, that was a while ago. What I can remember and tell you is we shot a number of different rounds including sub-sonic and had no malfunctions.
Not a great amount of information on the hi point 4095 but you did show that it shoots good. A lot of folks are HP haters because they are low priced and heavy and ugly, BUT if you get over that they can be great. Think about this - American made, lifetime warranty and if you have a problem they pay shipping and get it back to you quick. They shoot any ammo and are as accurate as PCC carbines that cost 3 to 4 times the price.
Sorry about the lack of info. The most important thing is we had no failures - the weapon is accurate - and it is fun to shoot.
Use whatever you’re most comfortable with. I trained room clearing with a pistol so that’s what I use for home defense
Late to the party. That said, thanks for the video. I happen to use the very Speer Gold Dot standard pressure demonstrated here in a Glock G-45. They have a good habit in actuals of making complete penetration and pretty well lodging towards the rear or just making it out and falling seamlessly out after penetration. There is no larger advocate for the 12 gauge than myself. I own them and appreciate their tremdous value. That being said with no detraction from the 12 gauge, I've also seen closeup what the 9mm. can and will do in defensive circumstances. In my opinion based soley on what I've seen, the 9mm. is plenty for the scenario laid out here. Seeing is believing. When I saw two characters come in together from an orchestrated home invasion gone south and put on to the stanless tables with two each of 9mm., it really struck home at that point that more isn't always necessarily better. Sometimes, it's ridiculous. Is the 12 gauge in a room worth the volume, the flash, the recoil? Perhaps. But is it necessary when I've got the 9mm.? "Ummmm..."
I carry a glock 42 in summer months in a alabama pocket holster. Winter a glock 21 in shoulder holster. I run underwood +P hardcast ammo in the 380. I alternate underwood hardcast + P with +P hollow point in the 45acp. Tested penetration with both. The 380 goes threw 3 two by 6's and sticks in the 4th. The 45acp hardcast goes threw 4. The hollow point goes threw 3, and makes it half way threw the 4th. I feel both are more then enuff for an attacker. I'll put 3 into them if possible!
Made for the Judge, or the Axe.😉
257 at my nearest store
10 dollar light was terrible no throw basically a flood light
Dear God can this end already? Fudds are so obsessed with this. If you want a 40. Get a 10mm.
This fudd has put more GOVERNMENT rounds down range than you and everyone you know combined. And get a 10mm. Talk about a fudd!!!
@gvtrai58 oh my I'm so I'm so impressed. Please let me polish your boots with my mouth. You've fired so many more rounds than me HHHH I'm so glad we have such an expert here. 40 is pointless with modern 10mm.
40 fits in a 9mm size frame which 10mm can’t.
I own both but the 9 will penetrate through the door, not sur that my shotgun will do that....
Damn u should have just said this was gone be a shooting review video 😂 mf won’t tryna explain nothing about the gun at all
Nice shirt!
10.5 hybrid 300 black out for 380$
Propped and can't shoot is he drunk?
It’s not sighted in yet
@@richardclary6267 Quiet goofball! You probably can’t find your ass with the toilet paper.
Now it's a waste of lead my guy😮 You need better Target situations. To show how the round works. Or that shall itself. because shotguns have so many you can put in 😂 But you did a good job❤
Nice piece
Real hillbillies ain't going to watch your channel because you ain't hit that shot and they would do it drunk too😂
Do we need a tax stamp for ATI OMNI HYBRID MAXX PISTOL 300BLKOUT
I found this on google...but don't listen to me...ask your federal firearms dealer..."What Happened to the ATF Pistol Brace Ban in 2024? The ATF pistol brace ban was overturned in a lawsuit by the US District Court in Texas. Under the Mock v. Garland pistol brace update court ruling, pistol braces are legal for now across the nation.Sep 29, 2024.
@gvtrai58 thank you
That thing is sweet I might go pick one up
Hell yeah it will go through the watermelon 🍉 I hate that watermelon
I enjoy your content Mr. Bama "Hill Billy", that said I don't see too many "hills" around there.
Birdshot is what I've always used. Less likely to over penetrate the walls, and at 10- 15 feet, the load is still in the cup. Especially if you have a full choke barrel.
Can i use the R word?
Where’d you get the stock?
@@mattknierim9276 That came with the weapon
Damn 400$ 3 years ago and I just bought one for 600$ inflation…
If you own a Ruger EC9S, don't treat it like a range pistol. Treat it like a backup, carry or nightstand gun. I made the mistake of running every type of ammo I could find through mine, shooting it over 500 rounds etc. Now mine has problems going into battery sometimes. Not sure what the issue is. I think the steel case ammo I used in the past may have damaged some of the internal parts. It still works but not like it used to. Sometimes you have to push the slide into battery. It's not idea for self-defense anymore.
Are you from west virginia
I am not. However, I did live in Beckley for a few years.
This is true. The SOLUTION: A hair dryer
$500 even as of today 10/10/2024 just purchased ✅
Broo i just paid 550 today!!!! Like 3hrs ago
@@jakegardner7180 yea I’m excited to take it to the range ! Picking up some cheap attachments right now just to give it a go lol! Happy shooting🫡
I just paid 540$
529 for me
I found a new one for $435 dollars. Is it worth it
Which pistol brace do you recommend?
Not a pistol brace, it's a stabilizer brace.

I wonder if that's a Maverick 88 or Mossberg 500 ?

With a 16in barrel what kinda fps do you get? Sounds like really expensive ammo for little gain
I really don't remember the fps for whatever ammo that was. The 300 has a lot of different rounds. 110 grain - 220 grain and the speeds vary like a MF. Probably anywhere from 800fps for subsonic rounds to 2400fps for the lighter grain rounds.
External safety or no?
Yes
You didnt even look at the wood :(
Useful for plotting out my new house and the defense measures I keep within. Thanks bro 👍
I have one and it works perfectly fine
This things like $284 at my local dealer.
I’m in the process of buying a Glock 23 gen 5. Sharing your thoughts and experience on the gun has helped me decide to purchase the gun as part of my gun rotation. Thank you! 🙏
The quasi-ghetto accent is unbecoming. I came here to see what your thoughts were on the firearm, I left so disappointed. You could learn a lot from Hickok45.
Well aren't you a little snooty to be roaming around gun channels and mocking the way a man talks! I love Hickok45. I know he is a wonderful man for real. But, truthfully, he could learn a lot from ME also!!!
Just grip the .40 tighter. I have every caliber in Glock and my Glock 22 .40cal is my only Glock that has never jammed once. I think it’s the bigger bullet size gets jammed less than the 9
A Glock failure should be very very rare. I never had a failure with the G22...only God knows how many round through probably more than 10K. I do remember the G19M having one when I first got it. Probably pumped about 5K though it without another. I'd have extreme confidence in both, one just makes bigger holes! Thanks for watching!
I got 40 stacked deep. Sticking with it.
I’m stacked deep too!
Hey I’m a black hill Billy I love your videos brother 🤙🏾
