very good👍
MANY inaccuracies in the descriptions on the photos! Best to ignore them and just look at the pictures.
I have gone on an airplane!
Nice job! I try to fly Southwest whenever the wife and I fly.
You will enjoy Southwest . Thank you
There is SO much history at CMH. Within the staff of the airport (specifically the ATCees), it is something that they love to show off.
Excellent. Love the music!
They sure are good at liveries!
Awesome! This is actually my local airport!
Same
5:14 this monorail will be returning to Epcot
Beautiful songI love level 42😍👍♥️🎶
RIP
Outstanding drummer. Love everything he does.
Idk if y’all know but the flood is how the bottoms and hilltop got their names.
The ol workhorse! An icon of the Delta fleet. Dad worked on these back in the 80s/90s in ATL and CVG. Love the music throwing back to the old Delta commercials of the 90s. Sparked many great memories growing up, thanks for sharing!
Nice
Rest in Power Boon and Allan Holdsworth. ❤💛💚
Hi You did a Excellent job!!!
Thank you
Left Columbus (college) in '82. After living in NYC and now Chicago, it really holds its own as a skyline. Despite the Rhodes tower...it looks at you like it's not really happy with you. Oscar the Grouch comes to mind with those eyebrows. Early 70s brutalism, but I've seen worse. At least it's not solid concrete. Huntington was done right, as was Nationwide, and LeVeque is flat out bizarre/cool.
What a great tribute, couldn't have picked a better song. RIP Boon, you were the best.
I can't believe I didn't comment on this before. Phil and Boon were what drove Level 42. Phil was the more flamboyant one and as a drummer he was my fave. Boon was happy to sit in the background. Mark could go on doing ridiculous solos and Mike could always bang out a keyboard sequence. Phil was just the pocket master driving things along. Boon would just come out of nowhere with a riff that finished it. Boon Gould is the most underrated guitarist I've ever heard. If you listen to Level 42 The early tapes, There's a track called Theme to Margaret . When you hear Boon and Phil jamming, you know the link was there. RIP Boon, Us true fans still appreciate you.. After Phil and Boon left, I stopped following Level 42. It would never be the same. I've stuck to that ever since. I withed a drum cover for Kansas City Milkman but the bloke played as PRB plays. For me, it's not the real deal. I don't care how good a player PRB is, he's not Phil Gould!
The first passenger jet I was a passenger on in 1975. CAE to ATL to MSY all the way. I've been hooked on air travel and Delta ever since.
I'm a drummer and a massive fan of level 42 but hang on on guitar is Allan Holsdsworth not boon gould the song a kinder eye on the garranteed album 1991
Such a beautiful flight.
Great guitar work by Alan Holdsworth .
Allan could play everybody off the stage.
I thought Boon was playing out of his skin, then it got to the end out solo and it’s so obviously Allan. Bit weird to use a song Boon had nothing to do with as a tribute to him 🤔
@@StueeRoss Yes I think he just got a Level Song and put 2 +2 together and got 42 😂
As a Floridian I agree🤓☝️🤓☝️
I remember, I think it was early 1970’s when a small plane flew through the arch
I lived in Columbus from '93-'98 when I was 34-39 years old. Still my favorite place to live after all these years.
One of my favorite animals, they are such interesting apes.
Beautiful Columbus
Could have used it from Columbus to las Vegas route.
Alyssa Lockheed jet airliner is nice QWERTY. Thanks please allow time for her to receive the jet. We want to be as close to earth as possible with new 2023 Lockheed jet at your airport. For my latto Alyssa's to fly for her birth state. Thanks again airline Manager 4 for allowing this to happen.
Damn that Neil house is sweet! I deliver for Amazon and go into the huntington building a lot i usually have to go all the way to the top to the penthouse
Strange how the Lincoln-Levesque wasn't photographed until the final 1/4 of construction. It was probably Tecumseh's home....Idk who built it or for what purpose I just know it wasn't us. Jeez Louise that music literally to tears...it's beautiful.
My wife was born (1945) and raised in Columbus and there's so many of these places.
Am speechless
That was very interesting. The way the information comes on the screen is very confusing and makes it hard to read. If there's more then one line, the middle line comes on first then lines on top and bottom?!? Could you correct that? Thanks
A news station in Columbus in the 90s recorded some of the earliest HD footage ever in the city and at OSU, they posted the videos on their channel :) As far as I know this makes Columbus, NYC, and Tokyo the only cities with viewable pre-2000s HD footage.
Thanks
Nice! Puts me on the People Mover!
Downtown casino could have kept some life downtown. Politicians wanted to please neighborhoods by giving them goodies rather than enhance downtown growth. Soccer stadium downtown helps since fairgrounds stadium did not help consolidate entertainment venues.
You missed out Jakko Jackszyk in the ever changing lineup of Level 42. R.I.P Boon, you will never be forgotten, your music lives on.
Nooo. They wouldn't have the control tower guy be the one confirming flights
It's a quote from The People Mover at Magic Kingdom, incase you aren't aware 👍🏻
@DNOstalgia Oohh thats right! I remember that from Disneyland in CA.
@@matt6014 😁😊👍🏻👌 Sweet. Hope you are living the dream dude.
Great video!! I love it. Thanks for making it.
thanks Ron
Beautiful song 🎶 can’t believe he has left us 😢level 42 are still one of my top favourite bands of all time!! Especially the early years starchild are you hearing what I hear love games etc brilliant
The TransplantedBuckeye !!
A wonderfull job of telling the History of Port Columbus !!
On Memorial Day, 1965 I flew out of Port Columbus to San Antonio,, Texas in to the United States Air Force. When I came back I took the bulk of my flight training from Lane Aviation in the 1970s. I left Columbus in 2001 after retiring from DFAS. I have missed it ever since ! Is the 94th Aero Squadron Restaraunt still ther ??
First comment, kind of fitting to be honest😂
I first saw Columbus in 1977
