This is the 1949 showroom layout. The 57 layout did not have a dog bone loop and was more of city landscape with a highway system on it and running water. The track was Lionel's new Super O track system.

I love the sounds of the old F59 engines roar echoing through the concourse including the MP36PH-3Cs but since the F125s don't have the beautiful sound of the the F59s and MP36PH-3Cs so I'll be missing the noises of F59s and MP36PH-3Cs. Nice video btw

When I was a child, probably late 40's or early 50's, we didn't have a car so my mother would sometimes take me shopping at the department stores in Denver. We took a short walk to the Englewood Loop and took the trolley to downtown Denver. That trolley was noisy, like this red car. I think it had wicker seats.
