    As someone who lived in Toronto their whole life. It is an international city that has a high quality of life. Especially around the world since my brother used to work overseas, and my family is still in Asia. Prices everywhere and job security is on everyones mind. and number 3 is a joke - have you been to any large international city? i went to school in thunderbay and that was hell. things close at 8pm and there are like 3 bars lol. and for number 5 you can blame the conservative government for literalyl defunding public healthcare to show its in shambles then call out to ppl and say private healthcare will solv e the problem. which is not the case. Also the reason why there are so littel family doctors is the fact that doctor graduates are capped and that most doctors want to specialise cause that means they can make more money and are more valuable. which creates a lack of family doctors especially with how high rent is , and student debt not many new graduates can open their own clinic.

    Reason number 1 is actually that Toronto is a totally charmless city. BTW the city does not resemble NYC in the slightest way, other that they are both big cities. I've heard some people make that comparison, but it's laughable.

    • @timsummers870
      @timsummers870 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That comparison possibly made sense in the past when Toronto was Canada's most cosmopolitan city, thus comparable to New York. However, today's main Canadian cities have all become just as cosmopolitan, so the old comparison no longer makes sense.

    • @AY-uf4oz
      @AY-uf4oz หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@timsummers870 Sorry it has nothing to do with it being cosmopolitan or not. The closest comparison to an American city in my opinion would be L.A- spread out, long distances, somewhat soulless. But at least L.A. has the weather and the beach. TO is full of big high rises, strip malls, and homogenous looking neighborhoods.

    It takes forever to get from point A to point B in this city, especially if you drive. Some of that is intentionally done by the government(s). There are also a lot of mentally ill, homeless, panhandlers in the streets and some of them are quite aggressive. Still the city is relatively safe and there are so many things to do and see. Just be prepared to spend.

      Canada's been an immigrant country for hundreds of years. Plus the birth rate is low. If we don't keep having people come over, we won't have enough workers to keep things going. Also: funny how racists so often have a picture of a sunset or flowers as their profile picture
