The Tailor was an absolute surprise. The other two - kickmaster and foodmaker - you see evidence of their strength from the first scenes itself (kickmaster carries extremely heavy loads; foodmaker uses bamboo staff to roll dough). But the Tailor, for the most part, is shown being an effeminate person.

This film. This scene. Absolute masterpiece. It brings tears, joy and chills everything. A climax of the classic era mixed with the modern theater of it all. If you are here, you have exquisite taste. Toad style is emmenesley strong and when used properly, can be impervious to any style.

it's from chewing cigarettes , it's a common thing back then. even in the west there's this type of cigarette instead of lighting them you chew them and spit it. that's why in cowboy movies there's a thing called spittoon , that bowl thing they spit on. real thing is way more disgusting it's filled with blackened spit and nicotine. and way way back in ancient times japan and china consider having black teeth to be a sign of sophistication so much so that even people who doesn't chew those tobaccos and cigarettes would dye their teeth black.
