No, you did it wrong. You have to go in WinRE > MyASUS and use their own reset option, it's better than the Windows built-in option.

Hi there. I replaced the battery on my iPod shuffle and it works now, but the light to show the charge does not. The lights work when I click the buttons to play/pause music and plug into the computer, but if I plug it in to charge the light does not turn on to indicate it's charging.
