Nice choices, I have managed to find the 1970 and 71 versions of the Jersey cow, I believe that completes the lowest minted version of these larger 10p's, Unless you know of more that I have missed. Steve

the 3 mils always seem to have good design although the scalloped versions are my fav's. Steve

I have heard rumours of a completor coin not heard of the actual time it might be out, but probably will be as the RM use these series as cash cows. Steve

Not this one, I though all coins with a value of half pence had been removed from circulation as the half opence on longer exists. Or would non bank people count it as just 12p? Steve

@@steveatbuccscoin336 That's why I said theoretically. Suppose having two would make it 25 pence 😁. If you have a bag of decimal ½pences (£1 worth), you should still be able to exchange them at the bank and get £1 back. I've been retired nearly 4 years, and we could even accept pre-decimal coinage as long as they were in multiples of a £1. They are classed as "garbled coin", and we would send them back to the Bank of England.

Gibraltar tends to come up with some exciting designs on their special commemrative coins. Steve

Yes in 1967, to help the mint with the change over enough were minted to last from 1967 to 1971. Although some coins were minted in 1968 to 70 with the date of 1967 on the coins, to cover shortfall in the requirement, hence why so big mintages in 1967. Although you probably know this already. Steve

A slip of the tongue on the Churchill dates, not having a solo release of this coin, I would love in Nov before the Snowman has its Christmas SYO run for the £2 Churchill to have short run to celebrate his birth. With such a low mintage the H&M SYO is so sought after with collectors ans such a high price. Steve

Yes there have been many anniversaries of this event/battle with coins or banknotes issued. This last one being 80 years means not too many of these brave servicemen are left to celebrate and 90th anniversary would make them in some cases close to or over 100 years old. This year maybe last major anniversary that they will attend, which is why a lot of fuss has been made of it for their heroics on that day. Steve

I dont think many of these will go into circulation due to coins with Elizabeth II still in long term storage. Steve

@@steveatbuccscoin336 Well the Red Arrows were set up in late 1964, so I expect to see it in about 2-3 months time.

Still looking for a CA01 £5 note and never seen the £10 or £20 notes as yet. have heard from now on they are only going to release these notes as replacement for worn or destroyed notes. Steve

Apparently they can be quite aggressive and have a poisonous spine on their back feet. Steve

I recorded this video and was due to release just before SOD, but missed it and did not pick up in the editing. Its been 18 months sinced a commemrative 50p has gone into circulation, remember the good old days of virtually every 50p design going into circulation. Steve

I bought a 5kg bag 2 years ago and I am still using coins for WCH along with some coin hunts from the same country, so tgis has lasted me well. Still have 20+ bags to film. Steve

Apart from D-Day strike on the day I had to buy this on e-Bay. I think everyone was allowed only up to 3 per person and 1 visit on the day. Bo has been outstanding, brillant for me. A really good mate. Steve
