Alberta Ballet School is amongst the top ranked classical ballet and contemporary dance training schools in North America -with successful alumni achieving professional contracts around the world annually. Alberta Ballet School is dedicated to developing skilled dancers while fostering a lifelong love and appreciation of dance.
Explore Alberta Ballet School's Facilities
The Alberta Ballet School academic and artistic facilities, located in downtown Calgary, consist of six large studios, and six academic classrooms spread over 30,000 square feet in the same building.
The Calgary location also includes:
- A full costume department
- On-site physiotherapy room, student change rooms with lockers
- A lobby area
- Administration offices
- A welcoming reception and outdoor annex
The school is a 24-hour secured facility with access only granted to students and parents, faculty and approved guest. Alberta Ballet School also offers a Residence Program for non-local professional students. Our Residence is located on Mount Royal University campus, only 15 minutes from the school. Alberta ballet School in Calgary offers programming six days a week.
