Easy Nashville Numbers Reading Example in C Major | No Bass Guitar | Slow and Soulful | 85 BPM
This track is intended to be an easy practice track for the Nashville numbers system. Each chord is held for one measure. If you have questions about the Nashville numbers system, there are some great resources in the internet, and I'd suggest checking those out before attempting the track. Here are a couple of notes.
* There is no intro section. There is an "A" section, a "B" section, and an outro
* Each number corresponds to a scale degree (chord) in the key of C Major
* "-" next to a chord means it's a minor chord
* Diamond around a chord means strike it on "one" and let it ring.
The numbers system is an incredibly useful way to make charts on the fly, and is used all the time in a professional environment. Even if you're a hobbyist, knowing the numbers system can make your life easier. I'm a huge fan.

Bass Guitar Descending Single Position Triads | Key of G Major | TAB Included
มุมมอง 124ปีที่แล้ว
Being able to play every triad in a major key from one fretting-hand position on the bass means you have every chord in that key available to you without ever moving your hand from one spot. This is possible because each triad can be played three different ways, depending on which finger you start on. In this exercise, place your middle finger on G (E string-3rd fret) and use one finger per fre...

Ascending Diatonic Triads Exercise for Bass Guitar | Key of A Major
มุมมอง 199ปีที่แล้ว
This track is useful for getting the triad shapes under your fingers in a major key as you ascend up the major scale. Of course the shapes will work in any major key, but we're in A here. Your goal should be to be able to play all of the ascending triads without moving your fretting hand position. Get busy! Oh, and subscribe if you like. Thanks!

Bass Guitar Boot Camp | Interval Drills | Thirds | Key of G
มุมมอง 100ปีที่แล้ว
This is both a good sight reading exercise, and a great drill for getting major and minor thirds squared away in a particular major key - this one happens to be G, but the shape is totally moveable (one of the great strengths of interval studies.) The key of G has one sharp, and that's F#, so don't forget to sharpen the "F." If you can't play it up to speed, don't worry. Just pause the video an...

This exercise will help you get the first 4 natural (no sharps or flats) notes under your fingers while sight reading. Go slowly, or with out the track until you're ready, then play along with the track to make sure you're hitting the right notes. Plenty more of these exercises to come. Good Luck! NOTE: The piano plays the 29th note incorrectly. Good on you if you caught it. It's still a valuab...

helpful for my bass practice. THANK YOU
Hi! This audio source is exactly what we need to create our cover music! Would it be okay for us to credit and use it?
You are very talented! Any chance you make backing tracks for originals songs ? Would be interested in that. If so what is your email and I’ll message you ? Thanks 🙂
Omg I’ve been looking for a simple sample like this for 3 years.
You're welcome! It's the little things...

Great ! Really useful. Thanks a lot.
Thanks, man!

Very nice progression. I keep trying to remember what popular song used this progression. I know it was a female singer, at least that's what keeps playing in the back of my mind.
(Sittin' On) The Dock Of The Bay?
@@HairBilly Naw, it reminds me of an 80's pop tune. I'm sure the progression is used in a hundred songs.
It sounds like anything the Rolling Stones did from in 75-77.
WatcNice tutorialng tNice tutorials video is literally my 1st step to my 22 goal.
Cool bro
Thanks!
Nice, gives me a Talking Heads vibe and makes me wanna play like Tina Weymouth.
Absolutely fantastic, nice chord changes, very emotional. I love it! I PLAY ACOUSTIC LEAD FOR THIS JAM TRACK!
Thank you! Enjoy!
Nice progression. You can do some fun stuff when you go from the D to the Dm playing with the thirds. Thanks!
Thank you! I always love going from major to minor as a writing device. There's a longing feeling.. Thanks for commenting!
This is really helpfull. I still need to study it and figure out each change in chord, which should help me very much. Thank you!
Thank you!!!!
Excellent. If you can you upload of Dominant chords. That is great for practicing. Thank you a lot. Cheers from Brazil!
Awesome. The rest are in the works and will be available soon. Enjoy!
Can you do for G7, C7, and D7? Thank you
Absolutely! In the works right now, so I'll do those first.

The videos you requested are done! Just go the the playlist titled "One Chord Wonders" to find them. Eventually I'll have videos for all chords and qualities. Have fun!
It would be nice and helpful if each measure would be highlighted (change colour or something) white it is being played. It would help us mere mortal that are still learning to identify the keys. Thank you for posting
Hey there, thanks for commenting. I actually chose not to highlight anything because these are practice tracks, and counting is part of the practice. I made a note on the slide that each chord is held for two measures (or eight beats.) Try that and see if it helps. For what it's worth, I'm a mere mortal too. Thanks again.
You videos great, really. I can recommend a way for growing g e t 4 v i e w s. It helps to find your target audience and increase views)
I love it, thanks
Thank you! Glad you like it. Hope it's useful to you.
Great for improv!
A deceptively useful tool. Modes, improvisation, arpeggios, rhythm, etc. What do you use it for?
I use this when teaching rhythm and technique to beginners. It helps keep the notes simple, but the rhythm can be more complex.
Great for practicing modes...
I use this to work on arpeggios up and down the neck of the bass. What about you?
A great tool for working on walking bass. Thanks!
Yeah, baby! Thanks for this!
Super useful! Thanks for doing this.
