I'm about to purchase a 2025 toyota corolla se trying to stay in my budget. The hatchback is nice and by the way you're in my city. VA STAND UP!!!
2025 Toyota Corolla hatchback’s rear suspension is multilink? Not is double wish bone?
Yessir, Multi-link rear suspension + MacPherson strut front suspension.
@@yotarolla5292big difference, Malaysia’s version use double wishbone rear suspension
Any chance you have the part number for that rear spoiler

@ thanks bud ✌🏻
Performance cars are nice. But todays streets aren't designed for performance. I like your philosophy. Its been said, its more fun to drive a slow car fast than to drive a fast car slow.
Beautiful car sir!!!
On the motor way, can the car perform well when overtaking and happily maintain speeds like 100 mph without feeling strained?
With one person it does the job. Just depends what you are used to, 169HP at ~3100lbs isn't really ideal for that. You need a hot hatch for that my friend
not enough space in the trunk.
Depends how much you need. I came from the GTI and Focus ST; this Corolla is still plenty for me. Fold the seats down and remove privacy cover this thang can carry a decent load ;)
@@yotarolla5292 I need more than this car.
Quite the insight.
I've subscribed your Channel Bro 🎉🙏🏻👍🏻🔥💪🏻
nice video also got mine ordered coming in next month :)
Hope you enjoy as much as I am. What color and case you get?
which switches are better ? Lekker 45 or 60
@@sindev3320 I prefer the 45 for frequent keys. 60 for keys you don’t want to accidentally press when gaming.
How was the ride with the 18 inch tires ?
Not bad at all. You really only notice it if you hit a pothole or something like that. Which is the same story for basically every sub 60K car. Love the look though, couldn't live with that OEM look from the SE.
What a beautiful car! Great choice. Did I see correctly? Does it have front parking sensors?
I just got a 2025 hatchback xse 3 days ago. Got the midnight black edition and this shit is beautiful and fun to drive. Would reccomend if you can get a good deal on it
I’m boutta get this car this week hopefully 😀
I just bought one! the same !!! XSE
Congrats! Hope you enjoy as much as I have so far
Yes, Between the Mazda 3 and Corolla I bought the Corolla for a lot of reasons plus Corolla is $3K less.
How is it on highways? I drove my moms corrola hatchback. It was a 2010 or 2011 and seemed to rev high on highway and it was a automatic. But this car is now what, 14 years newer now. Can it do 80-85mph comfortably? If they make a gr corrola hatchback automatic ill get one. Im tired of manuals in city traffic.
Acura Integra I think is a better choice and you can get them cheap slightly used
Used is always a gamble, but I do love the liftback on the integra's. Huge back seat too.
Man, got a new Prius XLE in Reservoir Blue coming in. Getting out of my GTI, but this really has me rethinking. Love the hatch….congrats and be safe!
Thanks! That Prius should be quite a bit quicker than this Corolla, better MPG, and AWD no?
@@yotarolla5292 I had a chance for AWD but I am not on the AWD bandwagon, especially where I live. So 194hp on the "base" model and the little extra motor for the AWD adds 2HP that only connects at 25mph or lower. The curb weight is 55lbs heavier for the AWD and the torque remains equal. The hatch is 161hp and 151 torque and 3060lbs…the Prius is 3164lbs. So for me the hatch performance should be just fine…..in fact both cars are really well suited to common sense driving. All that aside, as sexy as the curves are on the Prius I still am drawn to the hatch. Got the hatch envy going on!
@@bluemaxx2006this is like 8.1-8.2 seconds 0-60 the fWD prius is around 7.4-7.5 and the awd Prius is around 6.9-7.0 0-60.
Great review! I love that the Corolla hatchback XSE comes standard with the premium JBL speakers. unlike the XSE Corolla sedan! I believe it weighs around 3100 pounds (the base LE sedan weighs just under 3000 pounds). Mazda 3 also has cylinder deactivation which could be a nuisance long-term. Does your 2025 Corolla hatchback have auto stop start button where the engine shuts off when you're at a red light?
Can you deactivate the stop/start feature?
@@williamyee1704 No unfortunately yo have to turn it off every time
I’m lemoning my 24 sedan after 24k miles and 8 months. Rod knock and 2 bad transmissions. Once that mess is over it’s straight to an xse hatch with the wing, rack and white leather
You had all that happen to a new 2024 Corolla sedan? Did the dealer techs tell you what happened?
@@yotarolla5292 it’s still in the shop 10 weeks later with no answer
@@alexross367 Hybrid or no? Either way that's wild... you have to keep us updated.
24k miles is a shitload for only 8 months but still shocked to see you had these issues. How does the lemon law work?
@@yotarolla5292 not a hybrid just a regular se
I got a 2020 Camry se awd. Beautiful car and nothing wrong with it but something about this hatchback man makes me wish I held off my purchase.
Camry has quite a bit more back seat space. So if you carry 4 full sized adults a lot you made the right choice. Plus AWD (I believe the GR Corolla is the only hatchback that offers AWD from Toyota).
I just got my 25 hatchback today and I’m pretty impressed, even though I came from a Chevy Cruz😂 good video
Looks great man. This appeals to me since it has no sunroof! sunroofs kill headroom for me in many cars, limiting my options substantially when wer're talking sedans and hatches.
Grass on the new car, great choice on the XSE. I was on the fence between Civic hatchback and Corolla Hatchback. Ended up with Civic but every time i see one, i still admire this Corolla hatchback design.
I was also between these two. Main deciding factors for me: 1. Virginia Honda dealers had massive markups (3-5k) 2. Couldn’t get the higher trims with the 2.0L 4.cyl (non-turbo) 3. Overall NVH (Noise/Vibration/harshness)
Why cant they make the sedan look this good
What country is this, Cool hatch better than My Mazda sedan
Car was purchased in the USA!
love my 22, not fast but is a great drive
I get gas at the shell on the corner there or the one on lynnhaven. See you around fellow e210 driver.
Small World! Hope to see you around
Beautiful car!!!!
Congrats! Looks sleek! Did you have any luck negotiating a discount and if so, how much did you pay for it?
The dealer I bought from already had $1600 worth of add-ons(roof rack, rear wing, weather mats and some other goodies) they then applied a $1500 discount when I went to purchase. So I ended up getting it at MSRP OTD was 29.5K I believe. Not including the technology warranty. Toyota was able to give 60months @4.75% this was at Checkered Flag Toyota in Virginia Beach, VA
@@yotarolla5292 Great interest rate in these times.
u just made want to get this more than the new note
I love this car so far. Comfortable, affordable, efficient, and reliable can't ask for much more.
