I will play this. I am 61 and a beginner on viola. I played French horn for a major symphony as a young man, so naturally I will play viola now. Naturally!!!

I love the sound of the viola so much... that I'm a beginner now, at age 61. I play piano very well (started training age 7, never stopped playing), won my audition on French horn at 22 to play with the Houston Symphony Orchestra, play trumpet pretty good these days... blah!!! I MUST PLAY VIOLA. So, ... "The game is afoot, Watson."

This is just superb. I love the long flowing lines with just the right amount of vibrato that make me want to sinuously dance around the room. Mind you, being an old fat bloke, me trying to dance sinuously and seductively would NOT be a pretty sight.
Ah è veramente un bellissimo strumento la viola...questo suono a volte un poco rauco nel grave e il suo registro acuto molto caldo.... Mia madre l' ha suonato da professionista in orchestra per tutta la sua vita ma ho imparato tardi ad apprezzarlo da solista....qui è molto bello..suono pieno..bravissima violista....mi piace anche molto la Sonata di Rebecca Clarke per viola e piano...lei stessa era una violista professionista... Grazie per questo bel momento 😊
