This was the first IMAX film I ever saw 20 years ago. It's been downhill since then. So much of this was shot on location in Idaho.

The two Blackfeet who were killed were running off with Lewis’s horses to leave him alone and abandoned on the Montana prairie. Another near deadly incident was when Indians on the Columbia stole Lewis’s Black Lab. They got the dog back narrowly avoiding a skirmish. Nat. Geo. should have stuck to the Journal and used more close up, medium and long shots. All the helicopter footage was just annoying.
