I gave up on sewing machine threaders. I have a Bernina and its threader that constantly broke. Couldn’t figure out the Juki one so I just skip it!
I can understand how frustrating it is. It just takes a little longer to thread if your eyesight isn't what it used to be, but then again sewing is all about learning slow down!

So helpful - thank you! I want to make a vinyl pouch for carrying liquids when I travel and don’t check a bag. Much easier and less waste than using the plastic bags that rip after several uses.

I have used bull nose clips with scraps of fabric to protect vinyl.

i put foot pedal on my from the dc plug, l made a mount for singer to clamp to table. That took care of the singer single bobin machine. amazon parts and best buy.
My daughter also has hair down to her waist and would love these jumbo scrunchies. Definitely will be making these. Thanks for easy directions.

It definitely looks nicer I agree. I want to love it so badly! I'm going to keep working with it because it has such nice stitch quality and it's straight forward. I have a message out to the company about the foot pedal so I hope they reply.

I just bought one to make preliminary hems and then go back over them with my full size sewing machine. I think singer should have marketed this as a an alternative to pins because I don’t think it will actually hold stitches well enough to function as a hemming machine
I have done the same thing as you when I got mine. Were you able to get the old one bent back to work?
No I just wound up replacing it but it wasn't expensive. It's still working! Happy sewing :)

You could also use this in your craft room to store spools of ribbon. The ribbon will be perfectly accessible for the holidays and wrapping of presents.
Some how I completed the pouch without having the finishing zipper stitch on either sides of the zipper when the pouch is turned out the correct way 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ Were those steps shown in the video ? Ty
I'm sorry to hear that. It is difficult to understand what happened. Did you sew all the way up to the teeth. Technically if using a polyester zip you could sew over the teeth to catch everything. Could you turn in back inside out and see what the issue is. Also was the zipper the same length as the fabric or shorter? Let me know!
I just got one and finished a quilt on it and I love it. The one problem I am having is the pedal. I’m not used to the cutting mechanism and often cut the thread when I didn’t want to 😢. And tips on that is appreciated.

So if the lever is to the left and the arrow is pointing to the right, the feed dogs are up and ready for sewing. If you move the lever to the right and the arrow points to the left, the feed dogs are down and ready for free motion quilting. I hope this helps.
@@LaughSewCreate I got more confused. Can you tell me if that left right turning knob should be turned to the right or left when the walking foot is being used. Which way, right or left for walking foot?
@@Linneydenise to the left. You'll still need the feed dogs to be up. They are under the presser foot. The only time you want the feed dogs down is if you have the free motion quilting foot on. Does that help?
@@LaughSewCreate Thank you it helps so much and you absolutely wonderful to comeback and answer my questions so thoroughly. I truely appreciate it. I am new at sewing thick fabrics and never used walking foot attachment before. I just purchased the juki TL 2010Q and it came with this foot, now I understand why my project didnt come out right because the tension wasnt dialed all the way up to the top and the left right knob was turned to the right. The sewing machine is very basic but feels like it is an industrial machine I even received that freee motion foot with this sewing machine. I am so amazed at what I can do with this sewing machine with the correct foot attachment. I just purchased the left compensating 1.5mm foot and the right compensating 1.5 mm foot. I cant wait to see how they can help me sew in zippers and bags. Thank you again for all the time you have devoted to my post/question. Have a very lovely restorative week
