i’m high plat in ones and it brings me so much happiness watching new people play the game it’s just something idk how to describe

honestly 2v2 is a better game mode in my opinion, since the game focuses more on teamwork it's better to incorporate some team play, especially 2's, it's arguably the golden ratio in rocket league since it gives you more leeway to make mistakes and doesn't punish you for making one mistake. It also makes your team work skills better, like knowing when to pressure and when to stay back as well as rotation around the map. Back when I first started playing the game I also liked 1's a lot but my skill level definitely improved dramatically because of 2's. It helped me jump from high gold to low champ and I would definitely recommend it.

1v1 is the BEST way to get better at the game, and truly shows you your own faults along with where you need to improve :) thats how i went stuck to gold to diamond/champ. good job and keep up the great work!

Very initial ranks for new players are usually a bit odd. Most people get placed in gold on their first rank by default regardless of wins/losses. It will start to figure it out once you play more matches past your rank up. Only if you have had a previous rank from an older season will you place higher or lower than the initial gold rank. Even pros get placed in gold if they have a brand new account.

I recommend getting an xbox elite controller or at least one with paddles. Works wonders for me at 16yrs old

If you learn to front flip (hold forward and jump twice fast) you’ll improve so much! Your accuracy is pretty good
