Sorry this is late, but you said you went back to 165s after trying 145's. Are you still on 165's ? Which brand were the 145's and the 165's? How tall are you?

@@musclelessfitness2045 When I went with new bikes, I could not easily find 145's, so I went the the shortest I could find which was 165. For a square taper, there are lots of choices for getting shorted cranks. I am 6'5. I had purchased some 200mm cranks, thinking taller need longer. But with the testing with Frank Day, proved this is not correct. Plus, it is much easier to run off the bike with shorter cranks. I took those 200mm cranks and drilled new holes so I could use them as 145's. If I could have still used them, I would probably have stayed racing and training with 145's.
