I believe he was too!
Great to see it running
Thank you
This a great story! I love that you are building your Dads Vic. I still have my high school 1956 Ford ragtop. I look forward to seeing the progress. Thank you.
@@glennmott7688 nice buddy! Post a pic!
Nice! I always loved the 56 Fairlanes
Definitely had style
👍👍
Thanks
Looking REALLY nice!
Thanks!
I work for a Security company at a CSX rail yard. I tried to talk them into using an old caboose as a Security booth. They just laughed....
That would be awesome
'Post' cars were referred to as Sedans by Ford in this era. Club Sedan (2dr) Town Sedan (4dr) You got a great car there to build from! That paint will clean up really nice.
Thanks, I wasn't aware that was called a club sedan.
@richardclevenger9566 eh, just stupid little fun facts. 😁
Nice Vic! It's in really good shape. Can't believe how nice the interior is.
Please show the vin tag. I have a book that deciphers all the letters and numbers. Thanks Michael Comer
Yea I have that ability also.
Cool car
Thanks
NICE WHAT PART OF JERSEY R U FROM
lol West Virginia
when i first started working in the body shop we were still beating the dents out of these cars. kept the videos coming
Nice
I would pull the body off if it’s being restored..🤔 frame up!! To do it right
I’ve never driven the car, we are getting it drivable and take my first drive with my dad. Then the rest will be completed.
Nice
Thanks
Back when engineers weren’t all idiots.
Wait'll they see the high-end automatic washer pump that "piggybacked" off the back side of a fan belt.
Old cars had class and charm. Thats why we named them with girl names. Today all this electric space shuttles we drive are called the same thing. Sumbitch!
They used to be round and ribbed...not a pedal
This is the first one I’ve seen and pretty sure it’s original to the car.
Ford used heavier metal in those days for the bodies.
@@WilliamKiene much heavier!!
👍👍😊
