My GF and me had our first taste of the swamp 2 days ago. It didn't go well, we sailed across the ocean only to loose everything we had, including our boat. So here I am... searching for what to do to avoid it from happening again. Thanks for the video!

Question, do yall always try to hide ur weapons when trying to run and escape mobs?

boars eat carrots turnips onions and all berry's but buke berries, they also always drop one meat, there isn't a drop rate its guaranteed 1 meat for a lvl o , 2 for a lvl 2 4 for a lvl 4 . 50 meat for 100 boars is inaccurate

What I hated about this quest, is that while following him, some other NPC approached me and then I lost him. Then I had to go ahead and wait for his whole story again.

I never get tired of storms in Valheim. Played it over a year now and I still have to go out and watch the shore line during storms.

Had to like when you used the crafting tables as a reference for distance. Very intuitive

Everytime I open tamed a lox they almost immediately ran off to fight all the neaby enemies and died. (Note my little planes domain was nect to a swamp).

How often do they spawn

I have been playing Outrider and using the Eitr for the magic bubble only, so it is basically a melee/range with a bubble. My backup is Bonemass if I lose my bubble in combat.

It’s sort of annoying because I don’t think you can get more trees than seeds so I have to keep going back to get more seeds

I’ve just started in the mountains but I haven’t had any issues with the wolves, I just use the atgeir and it’ll kill all the wolves in 2 hits

Waiting 20 minutes listening to the same 2 stories is pretty whacked. Luckily you can skip but even then.

Get the Draugr Fang and upgrade it ASAP, even before you craft the mountain armor. Combined with fire arrows, it can take down all mountain enemies really quickly. Except for the golems of course. Never shoot at golems 😂

Or you can get lucky and hopefully find a plains biome nearby! The armor pieces drop copper and iron when mined so you could potentially with some work make your way back up to blackmetal without ever having to take a trip!

There should be a sealskin cape that makes a character immune to being wet.

Another reason to leave boats out of the swamp: archers. Draugr archers don't swim, they walk on the bottom of bodies of water and will get under your boat and shoot it. Also, wraiths can show during the day in certain buildings they inhabit. All it takes is a darker sky like a thunderstorm for them to leave it. Keep that in mind if you're just sailing by a swamp during a storm.

I have never come across a crypt in the swamps.

Nice video! I think this video has been ignored because people want comforting lies more than harsh reality. I think acceleration and nimbleness are the most important factors. However, the small horses exhibit these qualities the most and I prefer large horses.

Fire resistance potion overrides/negates the weakness from the root armor.
